When on Earth will Therapy? do an all-seater tour so that we can all sit down and enjoy their music in peace?!
I am female and my hair is always immaculate. I suggest you go and see what is on at the Bridgewater Hall. LOL!
PS A mate of mine went to an all-seater Slayer gig once. I kid you not. The seats were not there for very long, though…

Re: Classic Rock night in Birkenhead…but what to play? in Chit-Chat
Slayer qualify in the Classic room in Rockworld. Heartily suggest Dead Skin Mask.
Manowar—Battle Hymns.
Whatever you play you’ll get perstered to play something else.
I remember going to a rock bar in Birkenhead once, am I right in thinking there’s a place called ‘Steps’ or ‘Stairs’ or something like that there?

Re: On stage in Therapy? Live
I think it was originally in the H&G but my ticket arrived and it says Club! My friend and I are speculating over how long it’ll take before the stage gets swamped. It’s certainly too small a venue for the mighty T? but at least it’ll be nice and cosy on a cold autumn evening…
…was going to go to Rockworld for the new(ish) Monday night afterward but can’t convince my boyfriend (who will be driving and, therefore, not drinking)

Getting Excited… in Therapy? Live

Re: On stage in Therapy? Live
Firstly, I am very jealous that you are going to Liverpool and Manc. Sadly, I can only get to Manc. My advice would be to get there early because they are playing in Club Academy which is very very very tiny so if you want to stand anywhere near the front you need to get in quick. I shouldn’t be telling you this because I want to be right at the front…but I’m nice like that. Upside of Club Academy is you have a view from wherever you stand…including the bar! They will be on at 9.30 after Ricky Warwick and whoever else is on.

Re: Best On-Stage Banter in Other Bands & Artists
Therapy? back in the 90s at some point in Manc…when Andy was slightly larger some of the crowd started shouting ‘you fat bastard’. Andy left the stage, returned with a family pack of Doritos and proclaimed ‘I may be fat but I’m as happy as fuck’ before chucking Doritos over his hecklers….I may be wrong but it could have been the same night the barrier fell down so the lads played a ‘little jazz’ whilst everyone took two steps backward…

Re: The Wildhearts in Other Bands & Artists
first time I heard it was at the gig in Manc on Weds. Stood right near the sound guy so I could hear it properly. Was impressed but I haven’t rushed to buy it. It’s very ‘Wildhearts’ to me…if that makes any sense!!!!!!

Re: wierd as fuck, im sure i seen andy in swansea :s in General Therapy? Topics
Maybe he has cloned himself in order to promote the tour. I’m sure I saw him in the ladies’ in Rockworld last month…and in the shoe shop…and driving my bus…oh my god!!!!!!!!!!! It’s all TRUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUE!

Looking forward to Dream Theater, Opeth, Slayer, Paradise Lost…the list goes on and on…oh yeah, and Therapy? on the 26th!!!!!!!

Re: What’s everyone never going to listen to again? in Other Bands & Artists
Hovis sounds a bit crusty to me…
…sorry, I’m trying to amuse myself…
If I never hear that fucking awful ‘All Summer Long’ by Kid Rock again I will die very very happy. Why put two god-awful songs together and then get a talentless poser to sing such ingenious lyrics such as ‘we were smoking funny things’ over the top?
And why, even though it was released ages ago, am I still hearing it in bars?
Grrrrrrr……oh and anything by Coldplay should just be either a) burned or b) used to calm down excitable children.

Had to ‘google’ him to check it was the same fella but I’m well chuffed with this one! Hope he does some of the old stuff…

Therapy fixed it for me…
…all together now…da da daaaaaaaaaaaaa da da da da da da da dad aaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaa (that’s the theme tune, in case you are wondering)
Oh joy and rapture! I’ve got my Manchester tickets and am now a very very very happy little girl. Thanks for making my dreams come true. Even better is that if it’s half term I don’t have to work on the Monday so I’m going to Liverpool, too!
To all other posters, keep wishing on that star. One day, Therapy? will fix it for you, too.

Re: Full UK tour dates in Therapy? Live
Wooohooooooooo! I’ve just got my tickets for Manchester and, if it is during half term, I don’t have to work on the Monday so will probably go to Liverpool as well (longer drive back to Bolton!)
I’m so happy I could just burst! But I won’t.

The Pitchshifter EP partly remixed by Therapy? back in the day was mighty awesome, though.

Dear Therapy?
Please can you fix it for me to log on your website and see a list of tour dates?
Thank you very much.

Re: Exclusive Therapy? Interview - What questions do you want to ask the band? in General Therapy? Topics
I can’t think of anything sensible.
Is this because I listen to loud music?

Re: Exclusive Therapy? Interview - What questions do you want to ask the band? in General Therapy? Topics
Do you think that the song ‘Rain Hits Concrete’ has actually gone some way into ensuring that every summer we have had since that album came out has been rainy?
Do you feel responsible?

Re: Exclusive Therapy? Interview - What questions do you want to ask the band? in General Therapy? Topics
Are you available for weddings, bar mitzvahs and birthday parties? If so, do you do your own ticker tape or should I arrange that with another provider?
And why aren’t you in the Yellow Pages? You’ll lose business, you know.

Re: crooked timber - the single! in General Therapy? Topics
Yay! Can’t wait to get it. I can’t see the picture either but don’t care. I hate download only. Call me old-fashioned but if I buy something I actually want to have something for my money, not just a load of binary digits or however it works!!!!!!!!!!
PS I’m all into saving the planet btw, that’s why I don’t buy crap CDs!!!!!!

Re: Price of a pint of beer 2009 in Chit-Chat
More urgently important is the size reduction and price increase on a bag of Space Invaders. They were 5p a bag from the shop near my school and the pickled onion ones were so strong they’d make your eyes water.
I am reliably informed the average price is now 20p and the pickled onion flavour is more like bad breath.
