Many thanks for all the lovely birthday messages!

And Mrs H I had not forgotten about all you lovely people! I was otherwise engaged on my birthday horseriding through lava fields, then drinking Viking beer in a outdoor, geothermal, saltwater spa pool set in more lava fields in the middle of nowhere. But I would have preferred to be here celebrating. Honest.

It’s good to see Gracious Me still going! Although seemingly a shadow of its former self.

I have been travelling the world over y’know.

Well, more moving into a flat in Nottingham with no internet, and working silly hours so no net access for me :( but aha, now I’m sat in a cinema restaurant bar having my dinner on my day off and yoinking internet while waiting to be whisked away to manchester for the weekend.

How is everyone? What have I missed? Why is it all shiny?

I went to Rock City, saw about 5 minutes of Moletallica (unimpressed) and spent the rest of the night accepting free drinks and shots from strangers (mostly horror fans), dancing and then eventually stumbled back to the boys at 4am.

Best bit was going into the local 24 hours shop, standing at the meat counter and asking if they had any fresh brains.

Hello all! I am well, enjoying 6 weeks off uni. Been in Birmingham without net since October. Now back in Nottingham for a bit. Everything is going well. I have however ruled out hairdresser as a potential career as the boyfriend let me shave half his hair off into a mohawk and bleach and dye the rest of it blue.

Hey Marja! How are you? I mainly haven’t been around as I haven’t got a net connection at home, but New Fella isn’t helping much as when I’m not busy doing uni things I’m back in Nottingham getting cuddles or drunk. But he’s a big pile of lovely and it’s all going well so that’s really nice :)
