Wall of Mouths

Pure fucking class, the most consistently brilliant album since Semi-Detatched. Rise Up, DLAM and Perish tThe Thought are probably the strongest opening to any T? album, and Dead and Long Distance are two of the best tracks they’ve even penned. Only weak link for me is Polar Bear, but there you go, everyone else seems to like it so fair play. One of their top three for me.

Go, quickly and check out the ‘Up In Them Guts’ LP - dark, twisted, messed up rock ‘n’ roll of the highest intensity, or the superb ‘Spearheading The Sin Movement’ EP. Or, in fact, anything they’ve put out. Got to be another fan here surely?

I thought Extreme had balls for taking the gig on knowing that they’d be really up against it. And to be fair, it’s not so much that they’re a shit band (come on, admit it, Pornograffiti was alright) but more that they seem like a bunch of utter wankers.

All of Rise Up. My life is a bit of a shambles in pretty much every way possible now, this song is my reminder that at the end of the day I can only reply on myself and it’s up to me pull me through it.

Awesome, awesomw gig. Seen T? around 15 times or so over the last ten years and hand on heart this was one of their best performances yet. They seemed like a band with fire in their bellies and a point to prove. Had to catch the last train, so left the venue after Innocent X which was a pisser, but as ever respect to the guys. I’ve been a bit jaded regarding music for quite a while now, but this has reminded me just how powerful and life-affirming a good band and gig can be, so thanks guys x
