It’s MY birthday in 2 weeks as well. And 30 seconds’ birthday. We should have a party for all of us. To make sure that it meets with my approval it can be a Victorian theme party. I shall be the lady of the manor, and you can be a street urchin named “OY!”. 30 Seconds can be a chimney sweep, which will cleverly disguise his absence if he fails to show up.

@Jess - I know exactly what you mean. I felt like that when I had to have a hysteroscopy and it was all on this TV screen in front of me, my bloke, the doctor and a couple of nurses. It was like a weird cross between ‘Through the Keyhole’ and the Twilight Zone. “Who would live in a womb like this”?

I’ve also realised that I have skewed everything by not mentioning the fact that I am actually quite tall for a woman, so if he was a woman he would be tall, it’s only because he is a man that he is short, and yet not even remotely dwarfish. So actually you would be able to see him perfectly well if you were standing on the stage, but you would be in danger of going deaf.

That’s very true. Achondroplasia (sp?) is no laughing matter. The guy is very short. I have, however, just done some research and found out that he is actually slightly taller than me, so I shall start again.

You’d have a job on to see Andrew Eldritch if you were standing on the stage. Despite his giant voice his stature is somewhat diminutive, and I would think probably below average for a western european male of his age.

True. I pop in most days but there’s hardly ever anyone around. Which is a bit mean, after I spent all that time adopting people and looking after them. The first sign of incontinence and dementia they all fly off like shit off a stick and leave me here all by myself.

Hello Carl - I don’t think I know you, but congratulations anyway - babies are the best things ever, especially when they have no teeth so when you kiss them their little cheeks are all squishy! :D ?

I’ve got 2 daughters, a son, 2 nephews, 1 niece, 2 great nieces, 1 great nephew and 1 granddaughter and they are all quite well-behaved and healthy, so if you need any tips I’ll be happy to oblige! :)
