Re: New Pearl Jam in Other Bands & Artists
I’ve seen them yesterday evening in Arnhem
:D They played an awesome 2,5 hour set with at least 70% of the songs from the first 3 albums. :D
Unfortunately we had seats, since the standing places were sold out too fast, but we made the best of dancing in front of hour seats.
what i couldn’t understand were all the people around us sitting down almost through the whole of the concert, ok most were standing when they played Alive, but that was about it.
Did other Wombles go as well? What did you think?

Re: New Pearl Jam in Other Bands & Artists
My favorite album is still Ten. Together with vs. they are the only ones i listen to regularly. I do like the first half of the new album, but i think the last couple of songs miss some energy.
I hope they are more energetic at the concert in August :D. Third time i’ll be seeing them.

Hey pleasure!
I was sent the link from the Anthrax message board. I dont know who jared morris is. You know him? So it’s a Tom Petty song right? Well I thought right then. I dont think many people realise that people have figured this out already.
I have no idea who Jared Morris is.
I heard about it one or two weeks ago, but don’t remember where. I think it was on Dutch radio.

I had heard about it, but didn’t hear the Tom Petty song yet, thanks for posting it, since i was curious about it. But i wonder what did the peppers say about it themselves?

Re: The Bends or OK Computer? in Other Bands & Artists
I’ve voted for The Bends of course. OK computers also very good and i do like Pablo Honey. After OK computer i did buy the albums and listened to them once or twice and put them away in a drawer after that.
I’ve seen them twice on festivals, the first time was perfect, couldn’t have been better. It was after a whole weekend of rain, when they started it had just stopped raining and Thom came on in a oversized bright yellow rainsuit and started singing Creep. I still get goosebumps thinking about that time… It was just before they released OK computer i think, or perhaps they had just released it. The second time was a few years ago and the concert was good, but as i said i don’t really like most of the Kid A and Amnesiac songs.
Possibly i’m going to see them on another fesival this summer and i heard they went back to playing a bit more like their old style, so i’m hoping it will be great again :)
(hmm, this has become my longest post ever on these boards now)

Re: Hi there! in New Members (Introduce Yourself)
Well, i still haven’t been able to buy Nurse yet, but they did have High Anxiety and retrospective in the shop, so i bought those.
I’m now up to 5 albums (including Retrospective) and so far i have to say i like Troublegum and One cure fits all best.
But i’m planning to buy the others as soon as possible of course :)

Hello Taz. Join he club. You’re never too late to join this madhouse. What’s your fav T? album?
As i said i have a LOT of catching up to do. I’ve had Infernal Love for 10 years but until recently that was the only one (shame on me :( ) I ofcourse did know other songs, just didn’t have the albums. I bought Troublegum and of course One cure fits all. I have to say i like all three, i have now, very much for different reasons. Which one would you recommend i buy next?

Hi there! in New Members (Introduce Yourself)
Title: Hi there!
Hello people,
In ‘96 (i think) i saw T? live at Pinkpop, which was really fantastic. Unfortunately i lost track of them a bit for a couple of years. After the show yesterday i keep hitting myself in the head for that, so by becomming a member on these forums i’m sure i’ll never loose track of them again!
