Re: Swedish Festival 2010 Confirmed in Therapy? Live
Hopefully they won’t come to Ruisrock. It kinda sucks… Not the place, but the bands on Ruisrock always seems to be the same. Year after year.
Gävle isn’t “that” close to Stockholm. It takes about 2 hours by car. The last 70 kilometers is shitty condition road, unless they repaired it after 2004.

Re: Them Crooked Vultures in Other Bands & Artists
I really like the album. What can possible go wrong when the rhytmsection is Dave Grohl and John Paul Jones? Absolutely nothing!
Even though there is a few fillers, the album in whole is good. Reminds me from QOTSA’s Songs For The Deaf, but much more Led Zeppelin style riffing. I didn’t think that Josh Homme was a great guitarist until this album. His guitar playing is good on the songs. Can wait to see them live at Berlin next month. :o)

Re: Jurassic Rock, Mikkeli, Finland in Therapy? Live
Fucking great gig!
Band was in jolly good mood and there was a lot more crowd than I would expect to be at 01:00. Andy did his impression of Micheal Flatley’s Riverdance, he called himself “Michael Fatley”. It was nice that he also noticed two guys in gasmasks… ;o) Setlist was great, Fantasy Bag was surprise, as they weren’t supposed to play it, Thanks Therapy?!!!!!
Great to see so many people from here: Pete & Kati, Pogue Mahone, Finnish Fiend, Simo, an-ssi. and everyone else I forgot! Let’s do this again sometime.

Re: Jurassic Rock, Mikkeli, Finland in Therapy? Live
No, no, no, no, no I didn’t meant change of the date but if you think hard, Therapy? will be on stage at saturday since friday has turned into saturday at midnight and their playing time is from 01:00 to 02:15… I guess that we won’t be seeing the lads after the gig as it’s so late. Or early, depends on the view you are looking… ;o)
I think we will be at Pellavarock too, as I really want to see Primordial. I listened to the songs on their myspace and really liked them.

Re: Jurassic Rock, Mikkeli, Finland in Therapy? Live
Looks like you won’t be needing sickleave. Therapy? plays last act and it has turned to saturday… Their start time is 01:00 and they will stop at 02:15.
Hopefully the festival-busses won’t be a disaster like last year… Last year I didn’t saw a single bus on the start or at the endpoint.

Re: Faith No More in Other Bands & Artists
Faith No More’s gig at Helsinki last night was totally awesome! Setlist was similiar than it was in Download, but they played Digging The Grave & I Started A Joke as extra encore’s. Good to know that I still can see them at Sziget, as Ruisrock doesn’t appeal that much…

Re: what was the last gig you went to? in Chit-Chat
The festival season has opened for me at Kienlahtirock. Saw Suburban Tribe friday and they played an awesome gig! Yesterday Amorphis and D-A-D and have to say that even Amorphis played new tunes, D-A-D was the best act… They arein great shape and even though they have been 25 years around, they look like young boys at stage… ;o)

Re: Jurassic Rock, Mikkeli, Finland in Therapy? Live
This is great news! Last year was good at Jurassicrock. Or Kurassicrock as everyone seems to call it (kura = mud). It rained so much that at saturday while Eläkeläiset was on stage people was standing in the mud nearly to the knees… ;o) It’s good to see Therapy? first time in 4 years, though a club gig would have been better and we would heard more than two songs from Crooked Timber.

Re: T? in Dublin 15th May in Therapy? Live
Great to hear that the show was excellent. It would be good to hear “Crooked Timber” live in it’s entetity. What was not excellent, I didn’t get a shirt due to my chubbyness, but thanks anyway Petri for being the “mule”.

Nurse gets me back into the days when everything was simple and stress free. I now I was speeding when Accelerator came from the speakers, such a nice song while driving… ;o)

Re: The evolution of Human Mechanism to 30 Seconds in General Therapy? Topics
I guess that 30 Seconds was around before Human Mechanism, as Michael tell in Step Back In Time the earliest recording is rehearsal dated 06/08/89 and 30 Seconds is in there…

I saw FNM 1997 and it was really good gig. Hot as hell! This summer I will see them in Finland 24.6. and in Sziget Festival, Hungary…

Re: Who has “Crooked Timber”? in General Therapy? Topics
An, that must be Belgian post as my vinyl from the Global shop couldn’t have been better. Usually the album gets a little carried away in the inner sleeve bag and it torns the innersleeve. I cancelled my order from recordshop AFTER I got the vinyl… ;o)

Re: Who has “Crooked Timber”? in General Therapy? Topics
I got my vinyl a few days ago. Sleeve was fine and the whole thing looks awesome! Haven’t had time to listen it though… The vinyl release date has been postponed to 6th of May and the seller thinks that they won’t get it at all. That’s stupid. But anyway, I’m glad that I pushed the “panic-button”… ;o)

BTW Sarah, I cannot see the cover on the news section, is it just my computer only or can anyone else see that?

Even though I’m pagan, I have to say that there is somewhere God and God seems to be nice as this release is going to be in physical form.

Re: Who has “Crooked Timber”? in General Therapy? Topics
I had to push th panic-button and order the vinyl from Global Shop as they say in their webshop that “Hurry! Only a few remaining items left in stock!” and RecordshopX says that the vinyl will be released in Finland on 22th of April. Hopefully the sleeve isn’t torned. I ordered also Hydrogyn’s Deadly Passion as well, which I have meant to order a long time ago. Julie is such a treat… ;o)

Remember Pete what I said at another discussion-board. Another man’s honey is another man’s piss… :-D
We’ll see at friday and hopefully have a few beers.

Re: New album “Crooked Timber” 23 March 2009 in General Therapy? Topics
Vinyl seems to be hard to get in Finland also. I got a mail from http://www.levykauppax.fi saying that the vinyl is going to be released at 15th of April and I even payed the bloody piece of plastic already. The wholesale dealer doesn’t even have any clue about the vinyl. How wierd is that?
I was stupid to order the vinyl at the same time with the CD. If I would make my order now, I wouldn’t ordered the vinyl at all. Crooked Timber is a lot of better than the previous album, but it haven’t convinced me yet…

Re: New album “Crooked Timber” 23 March 2009 in General Therapy? Topics
Funny thing that in Finland the albums seems to go on sale on 1st of April. At least in the RecordshopX (http://www.recordshopx.com/artist/therapy/) where I nowadays buy nearly all my music. This was supposed to be released thoday, but they changed the date on monday. I wonder why, as the postpone of the vinyl hardly is the answer. Thanks to promocopies (and Pete) I have heard the album and it’s much better than the previous one. This time Neil is heard… ;o)

BTW, I ordered both formats nearly month ago from recordshop X.

Re: Who has “Crooked Timber”? in General Therapy? Topics
Thanks to Pete, I got a chance to hear the new record early (I never said thanks, but here it is now, thanks!). I have to say that it’s much better than I expected. Not a masterpiece but it’s a cross-breed of SP-YF and NANE. What I like on this album is that now, thank God, I can hear Neil’s drumming much better than in OCFA! Also Andy’s guitar and Michael’s bass playing is good too. The dislikes are Michael’s bass sound and volume is too high (That doesn’t sound like TG’s bass sound, don’t know is it supposed to?), Andy’s singing skills and the monotonous songs. They are too much chopped from the same wood. The best song so far (after 3 listenings) is that instrumental, even though someone might thing that 10 minutes instrumental is boring, I find it quite fascinating. Reminds me of Winnebago Deal’s Dead Gone, as it’s also long instrumental. I wonder how would have this album sound if Pete Bartlett sould be a producer..? I bet it would have been better. ;o)

Re: General Happy Birthday Topic! in Chit-Chat
Happy birthday Pete!
This was so important that I needed to crawl out from my Therapy? slagging cave just to say this to my dear friend.
We’ll see tomorrow and have a great time at Amorphis gig… ;o)
@Alan
You are totally wrong about me. I don’t hate the band, I just hate OCFA, iTunes UK exclusive tracks and download singles, but that you all most likely know already.

Re: new T? song on myspace in General Therapy? Topics
After the first listen, I’m glad that my reactions of the song is not the same as was when I heard Sprung (I nearly cried). This reminds me of Suicide Pact and that’s good thing. Hopefully the new album restores my faith in them, as I know that kossu and some other people will disagree with me, OCFA was pure shit! Gonna keep my fingers crossed… ;o)

Re: In the news… in Chit-Chat
That makes it even sadder, as the police didn’t think it was nessesery to withdrawn his six months trial gun permit or even take his gun away. Police had seen his videos in youtube and was questioning him on because of them. I bet the that the police who was doing that don’t feel great…
