I’m really sorry, I didn’t meant to offend anyone who has the same kind of thoughts like Squall. I’m just bored as Christian with these Graham-sucked-Shameless-suck-please-bring-Fyfe-back-Troublegum-is-the-musical-direction-that-they-should-have-done talk. Those times are gone when Fyfe was drumming as well as Troublegumlike records but it seems REALLY hard to understand to some of us…

On that you are saying, trigger that I would even buy a blank record if it has Therapy? written on it, that is true. BUT I have LOVED every album and song from the band (except nowadays because of heavy rotation Nausea, Teethgrinder and Nowhere gets me irritated). Does that make me a bad, bad person because I LIKE the music they are doing and you don’t..? I thought Infernal Love was shit when it was released but then suddenly ‘it got me’, as well as Suicide Pact - You First. I remember the feeling I had when I first time put ‘Shameless’ into my cd-player last summer… When I heard the first notes (after the ‘sample’) of Gimme Back My Brain, I thought I would explode!!!! Then Dance, This One’s For You, etc. I liked that record IMMIDIATELY, NOT because it had Therapy? written on the cd but the songs sounded so damn good and made me feel really well!!!!

I respect your opinion Christian, thanks! Also I have the same kind of experiences like Micheal1, I have met a bunch of great people from various places just because of Therapy? and I know that if there weren’t Therapy? we would never have met. Especially Minna my girlfriend whom I met about 4 years ago JUST because we both liked Therapy? a lot. Not to neclegt all the nice and co-operative people I’ve traded T?-stuff with. So I think Therapy? will always have a special place in my heart for them because they have bring all the joy to my life, (Like albums like Shameless… ;o)

But again that’s just my opinion.

Totally disagree. Therapy? should NOT split just because some of the so-called fans think that the new album is crap.

I really like SHAMELESS!!!!! It’s good record with good songs on it (first five are killer-tracks). But that’s my opinion.

I consider myself as a ‘Old-school’-fan but to be honest I don’t really miss Fyfe that much because the last two years with Fyfe in the band they weren’t ‘a band’. Fyfe stopped singing and mainly spended time with himself. He was/is great drummer though! As Andy and Michael has said that when Graham and Martin joined they felt that they were BAND, if you know what I mean.
Somehow some of the ‘Old-School’-fans just wants the band to do Troublegum-like records and stay in the same level as they were. I found very pleasing that they have made different kind of (comparing to each other) records and that it takes some time to get used to the albums.

Fyfe was excellent drummer no question about that but why don’t some of us fans except that that Fyfe is yesterday’s papers, gone, past and he won’t come back because like Andrew James C. said HE (Fyfe) was the one who left the band…

Is this ‘Please, bring back Fyfe, he’s the only drummer for Therapy? and they’ve went to shit after he left’ never gonna end..? :o(

With Fyfe Therapy? was Mark I, with Graham it was Mark II and now we are going to Therapy? Mark III. I sure hope so that Andy, Michael and Martin finds a great drummer that fits into the band and stays more than few years. And also I hope that they don’t became like for example The Cult and Spinal Tap with this drummer-in-drummer-out-thing…

I remember that I read somewhere that when they were doing ‘Gimme’ songs they left ‘Gimme Shelter’ out just because Andy couldn’t play the intro…

I guess that Martin could even done that with cello and the female vocals (Rape, Murder…) of the original like ‘Tango Romeo’-style.
Somehow the lyrics sounds very suitable to Therapy?

Maybe we should ask the band about the Gimme-Revisited..? ;o)

I really like Iggy Pop’s Gimme Danger because Andy sings it great and that ABBA cover is good too, as well Vicar In a Tutu which is also great. It’s a shame that Andy didn’t ‘get’ how to play The Rolling Stones’ Gimme Shelter since that is the cover that I would like to hear by Therapy?…

Fyfe is yesterday’s news no matter how much people wants him back. Like Andy said he left the band…
I hope that they can find the drummer that can stick with us no matter what and don’t dissapear to the wind after a couple of years.

How about Michael’s brother? He did few gigs (at least Balelec festival in 1999, but if I’m wrong please correct me…) when Graham’s arm was broken..?

I’m on the same bus with satanslittlehelper an Michael, don’t believe it until something official info… But if it’s true it surprises me more than when Fyfe left, because it was so obvious that Fyfe didn’t want anymore be a part of the band and Graham has always acted the other way. Is Spinal Tap with the drummer ‘problems’ familiar to anyone..? ;o)

I love Shameless! I have the same feeling as Pretender, yes AGAIN it’s a different album than the past ones. I’ve always liked that Therapy? don’t repeat the same pattern with their albums. Andy has said in some interview that he could have make easily catchy punk rock songs like Screamager but he didn’t and I appreciate that. Why people always expects that band should do the same thing year after year? We have one AC/DC… ;o)

I have to say that I really love Shameless (Does that make me a bad person..? ;o) , I liked it from the first moment. On SP-YF it took some time to get ‘used’ to it but after a while I thought it was a masterpiece…

I have always loved the bands music, the only two tracks I hate (hate is too heavy word though) is Nausea and Teethgrinder because the band has played them too much.

Is it me or what, but I think that Grahams drumming is now truly brilliant… I really think that he has improved much. Tight but loose as said from mighty John Bonham. What do you all think?

About the font/logo thing. That ‘Mashall’ type logo isn’t exactly ‘new’ since they used the same on t-shirt on Troublegum-era
(Heavyfuckingmetal in front and word Irony backside).

I heard that song (Kiss Me…) at Tavastia on Semi-Detached-tour and I thought that was another fine work by Andy. I waited that to be on the next album (SP-YF) but it didn’t. It’s not gonna be on Shameless either… :o(

My friend Pete’s friend asked about that song in Holland last year and Andy said that it is gonna be on Shameless. Pete also wrote to churchofnoise and Michael replied that that song is forgotten now forever. Funny because I thought that was (is) a really good song…

… also some of the songs are ‘longer’. In the beginning of ‘Black Eye, Purple Sky’ the ooh’s and aah’s (or whatever… ;o) lasts a bit longer on boxed set than on the CD. As well the heavy breathing at the end of ‘Straight Life’ is also longer on vinyl… So that ‘longer’ doesn’t mean that the songs are longer. Total lenghts vary a little bit due to this, so CD version is 44:36 and on vinyl that is 45:38 (-ish).
There are also ‘hand-written’ lyrics on that magnificent poster.

I’ve got a bad itch… ;o)
