Our mountains aren’t lofty, treetops are quite high and yes we are faraway from Cairo. That’s why it is so cold in the wintertime. :p Today morning was -2 celcius! So I guess that the summer is over… :(

I sometimes can’t understand either what they (Värttinä) are singing. They used old finnish words also dialect makes understanding difficult. I have only two of their albums and hardly never (nowadays) listen to them. BTW I used to live in the same building that their current bassplayer lives. :p

I’m suprised that someone actually likes the sound of finnish, most people think we are saying nothing but rude things because of the “hard-R’s”. Our language isn’t easy and only 5 million people speaks it…

I can recommend other great bands that sings in finnish but they are nothing like Värttinä. Heavy guitars I’m afraid.
