Re: Jägermeister Rock Liga in Therapy? Live

It makes me so sad to read peoples stories about Micheal being too drunk at gig…

He was the last person who I though to act like a fool. It’s great to read apology by him, but that doesn’t make it any better. What if someone travelled many miles and all they saw was some drunken musician trying to stay in upright position. I think it’s pathetic and disgraceful and not the way a real “rockstar” should act… I would call that underrating of fans.

Re: Thearpy @ ???? in Therapy? Live

It’s there… At least I found it. My office machine won’t let me play it so can tell for 100% does it play…

Search for Therapy at http://www.fabchannel.com

Look for the new thread about the May 6th gig which is going to be aired also from the same place…

Re: London Guitar Show 2006 in Therapy? Live

I think that to see T? 80 minutes in total on 2 days and paying a trip, accomodation, tickets is way too expensive even though it is in London.
I would be saving my money to trip with like 3-4 days in a row, even if the gigs are in different cities. It is such a unique feeling to be in new town for the first time and try to look hotel and gig venue there. Well, atleast to me that is more attractive… :D

Oh, and Kossu I’m more than sure that there WILL be more dates than these 4. Just have to wait and see. That reminds me that I must harrass mister Merimaa who run Tavastia-Club in Helsinki by e-mail. :D

they will play for an hour…
It’s not really a festival, more like an exhibition of guitars and people witH guitars showing off. There will be a smallish stage where bands play. Though the line up isn’t very appealing(excluding T?)

I don’t think that Therapy? will play for an hour, as there is this info on the London Guitar Show’s site

Quote (author unknown):

Capacity for the main hall is 2500 and operates on a first come, first served basis so we apologise if you are denied access due to full capacity. No extra tickets are required, but because we have to clear the hall between each act you may have to join a queue before access is allowed. The Grand Hall is a seated venue.

So it this is true, there is absolutely no time them to play for and hour, maybe for 30 minutes or maybe for 45 minutes as they have to change the equipment (or is that in musicians terms “backline”?) and clear the hall.

So my GUESS is that this is not a “real” gig. More like a showcase.

We were at the similiar fair in Finland sometime ago (Finnish Metal Expo) and there was bands playing on each hour and the stupid part was that they changed equipment for an half an hour and bands played a dodgy 30 minutes. Only 3 last acts played full hour. Plus they didn’t clear the hall from people.

But anyways have a great event!!!

They did that at Oxford too… ;)

Re: What is a nice Cover for the next Tour…!! in Therapy? Live

Where they played “Another Girl, Another Planet”? Was it full version?

Live covers I’d say the whole Thieves by Ministry (they already did a small instrumental part) or “Baby Did A Bad, Bad Thing” by Chris Isaak but I have proposed that earlier… :p

Re: Photos from Shetland Gig in Therapy? Live

I get a little bit angry also when people are just talking and drinking at the gigs. It pisses me off as those people who does this, could easily pick another place so that they can talk without the band disturbing their evening…

I cannot understand (never have) why bother to go to a gig if you are only chatting with your friends and drinking. Tickets are nowadays so bloody expensive that I want to be sober and have real memories, not that I was just wasted again and cannot even name one song the band played.

Maybe I should take AK47 with me to the next gig, it would be quiet before the police comes… :D
(Oh, just remember that I’m a peace loving fellow and don’t have AK47. Well, people have desires, right? ;))

Nice pics by the way!!!!!

Re: Barfly, London 20/08/05 in Therapy? Live

Don’t get your hopes up on meeting WoMmers at London Robby, as they seems to be extremely shy on meeting fellow T? fans…
Even if you have words Wall Of Mouths written on your forehead no-one says nothing (or was it just me :D )

Anyways you all have a a nice gig!!!!

Another mystery solved… Thanks Michael!!!!!

Re: Backing vocals Michael..!! :o) in Therapy? Live

Fyfe stopped singing at some point, he just did what was nessecery and that was pity. What I miss the most is the quality of Martin’s and Graham’s backing vocals. I respect a lot of their contribution on that side. I wonder can Neil sing as good as he plays drums..? :D

Go to the mirror boy! I hate say this but you look old in that picture but we all chace for the dream for being forever young. Or was that Alphaville song? :D

I got distracted earlier and forgot to say that those pictures are really excellent despite a few grey and lack of hair…

I bet that Roni yourself don’t look anymore a young lad, do you?

Andy is 40, Michael (he is so bOld ;)) and Neil are both 34. So they aren’t young lads anymore even though we all want them to be the kids we love…

By the way the thing what is happening to us all is called “agening”. Sometimes people starts to forgetting things or losing hair or getting overwight, like you have to every once in a while register on a different name as you don’t remember your password… Am I right? :D

Re: Little tounges First in Therapy? Live

Yeah, Femtex rocked big time live when Fyfe was still in the band and I bet that if they play it now Neil would kick our butts… I would also definately like to hear that song live.

Re: T? in Tallinn in Therapy? Live

Unfortunately I cannot be seen on the pictures, I wonder why? :p
I have really much shorter hair and less tattoos. Oh, and I’m much fatter than kossu :D

Re: T? in Tallinn in Therapy? Live

Pretty nice pictures… Thanks for the link Pete!

I recognise kossu, Heartbreaker and MIKEHELL from WoM in those pictures and also people we talked, dunno are they WoM regulars. Didn’t see me there though, but that’s only good as the photographer probably forgot his “monkey-proctected-camera objective” at home… :p

They quality of those pics is magnificient as you cannot see how much it rained…

I bet he does as it seems to me that he (and the rest of the boys) has a “photographic memory” or atleast I think so.

Great to hear that you had nice time 4eva!

Well that’s what they used in Estonia. :p

Re: T? in Tallinn in Therapy? Live

Just got back from Estonia. It was really great gig, the crowd liked it like the awesome trio as well.

Setlist looked like this;
01. Turn
02. Knives
03. Teethgrinder
04. Rock U Monkeys
05. Rust
06. If It Kills Me
07. Die Laughing
08. Potato Junkie
09. 10 Year Plan
10. Perish The Thought
11. Polar Bear
12. Stories
13. Isolation (Incl. She’s Lost Control)
14. Nowhere Man / Nowhere
15. Diane
16. Screamager
——
17. Trigger Inside
18. Church Of Noise

So it was the “usual” festival setlist with lots of Troublegum songs, but it was good.

Only down points were the roads of Estonia, really pumpy and lots of dangerous passings. Heavy, heavy rain during Therapy?’s set.

Thanks Andy, Michael and Neil
And of course our travelling partners Pete and Kati!

Re: Strange Song Titles in Therapy? Live

Haven’t heard any of them but also noticed that they were as “songs” on the setlists and haven’t got a clue are they real songs…

Maybe they are “preform” of actual songs like “2 Bags” they played in Tavastiaclub in the same period of time. I don’t know did they used elements any of those songs in NANE (like Again and Again main riff was used to Stay Happy on Semi-Detached).

Re: T? Scandinavian date in Therapy? Live

I know that they had to turn one finnish festival down because they are playing at Download-festival. I sure hope that they will play at some finnish festival. Ankkarock or even Ruisrock again? We keep our fingers crossed…
