Re: T? in France in Therapy? Live

That must be a nice review but all I understood was the names of the songs… :(

Re: therapy? headline Download Festival! in Therapy? Live

I think Download sucks as they had to turn down a finnish festival date on favor of that…

But on the other hand I’m going to see them in Estonia (it’s going to be the 5th country where I have seen T?) day before… :D

I SURE hope that don’t change.

Re: What guitars has Andy been playing at the gigs? in Therapy? Live

Actually his amps and that black one with f-hole is called Framus…

Guitar is AK 1974

Ampilifiers are Cobra Cabinet

Re: What guitars has Andy been playing at the gigs? in Therapy? Live

That one with gemil in head is Lector which was made for him by Lector from Tampere, Finland.

I noticed that he has this new white bodied “surf-guitar” Mosrite “The Ventures”, it looks like this one but does not have crank or arm or what the hell it is called…
http://www.ne.jp/asahi/mosrite/the-ventures/english/e_all_about03.html
And his amplifiers were the same name but somehow I recall that the name started with F…

Then he had one that looked like Gibson Les Paul but it had “f-hole” (or whatever it’s called) on atleast “upperside” of the body, not sure has Gibson made that kind of guitar but it could be someother manufacturers model.

And then he has “bone-white” SG with 3 microphones what he bought in 1998 from Helsinki, Finland. That is the one in cover of Scopophobia DVD.

Maybe Andy himself can shed a light on his guitars and tell the stories of them..? In fact they all should tell about their instruments.

Re: T? in Den Haag in Therapy? Live

So tomorrow is the start day of the second leg of NANE tour. Could someone post the setlist so that we all can start to speculate a little..? :D

Re: Why has Therapy? forsaken Copenhagen again? in Therapy? Live

I really don’t know how things go in music business but could it be so that if you are not “that big” (like our dearly beloved trio) that you are on the covers of magazines and your music get airwaves by radio, you have to do some promotion yourself, well if not by the band members themselves but get someone to promote them to club owners and festival organizers…

I once heard in the 80’s when I played in a band this that applies still today; “Nobody will come to your rehersals and drag you to gigs or recording studio”.

And as this is “the countries that Therapy? don’t play at this tour”-thread, I can whine a little; Did you also forgot Finland and all the nice gigs you so far had..? :p

Re: T? in Tallinn in Therapy? Live

Now there’s info on their website but unfortunately it’s all in estonian… :(

Does anyone know is there going to be bus after the last band played to Tallinn? As Järvikandi seems so little place that most decent accommodation is hotel in Tallinn…

Re: T? in Turkey in Therapy? Live

Wasn’t they supposed to do 2 gigs last year in both cities but they re-scheduled dates and then cancelled..?

I tried to check that from Alex’s page’s live section but all I got was “Please wait…”. What happened to them, Alex?

Re: T? Scandinavian date in Therapy? Live

Skavsta Airport http://www.skavsta-air.se/pages_eng/ is located 100 km south of Stockholm, so at least it is “close” to Klubben gig in Stockholm. They are the next day at Gävle which is 170 km’s to north from Stockholm. I dunno about the other places.

Return-ticket by bus from Skavsta to Stockholm city costs 199 SEK (21.55 €) http://www.flygbussarna.se/en/default.asp

N.A.N.E. tour part 2 - setlists? in Therapy? Live

Title: N.A.N.E. tour part 2 - setlists?

What do you think about the setlist on the upcoming tour?

I wouldn’t mind if they play as many songs from NANE as possible; Polar Bear, This Ship Is Sinking, Rock You Monkeys, etc. but it would also be great to hear “good-ole-T?-tunes” like Skyward, Punishment Kiss and songs never (?) played live with Neil like Femtex…

What is sure is that Neil, Michael and Andy will kick our asses… ;o)

Re: T? Scandinavian date in Therapy? Live

Seems that they changed Nivå, Gävle gig from 7th to 9th of April as it is so in ticnet.se where is only 3 dates;
6th April Klubben, Fryshuset, Stockholm
8th April BLUE MOON BAR, Karlstad (If Theraphy is Therapy? :p)
9th April CLUB MONSTER NIVÅ,Gävle

What happened to original LUND-Mageret-gig on 9th is still mystery…

Yes Danne, we have to come to Sweden as they seems to skip Finland this time… Any WoMbles going to Klubben gig?

Re: T? Scandinavian date in Therapy? Live

Now that we got tickets reserved to Klubben gig with my luck they will play in Finland the day before so we will be on a ferry to Stockholm… Any news from Tavastia, kossu? The fella I wrote hasn’t mailed back.

Re: Therapy? come to Greece this time! in Therapy? Live

Great to hear stories, thanks for sharing! I didn’t understand a word of the review though on that link you gave.

If the first picture is Michael, then yes he has changed a lot… ;)

Neil seems to use a rental kit on “one-night gig on faraway-place” as he obviously played with TAMA drums (Well that’s what the drumheads says).

Re: T? Scandinavian date in Therapy? Live

Does anyone knows where can we try to get tickets to Klubben, Stockholm? And does they have website? I couldn’t find none… :(

Any help is appreciated!

Re: First shows in 2005 announced! in Therapy? Live

Apparently the band and Rene are sensitive on this matter simply because some of us fans have acted so stupid after hearing cancellations on some tour dates…

We have to keep in mind that they want to be 100% sure after publishing dates on tour, that is to avoid the hassle what comes from vcancelling flight, hotel, etc. reservations. Like we know from past that this is sometimes really hard due to various circumstances. What I’m trying to say is that the some people have pointed that the fault of these re-schedulings were the bands fault, but they weren’t.

This subject is going to surface on every tour but that is the fault of promoters and club owners as they likes nowadays put info up on their webpages even thought the things aren’t clear with the band and management. You can’t read this; “They are greedy or either simply stupid”.

In the modified words of mighty A.J.Cairns; “Be nice to your parents and fellow WoMblers”. :p
