Re: Rank the Manics albums from best to worst in Other Bands & Artists

I like “This is my truth”. It’s not a kick ass rock album, but I like that atmosphere, that specific mood this album has. And I also think that “Know your enemy” is underrated album. I didn’t like it at first, but it’s kind of album, which grows on you. Just give it a chance. However, I must agree, that it’s a bit to long, there are some fillers, they should have dropped at least 2 or 3 songs from this album.

Re: This is the year… in General Therapy? Topics

In order to become big, you have to sign major label that would invest into promotion. Unfortunatelly this is not likely to happen. And yes, Therapy? were big during Troublegum-Semi Detached era. However, I think that the turning point was Semi Detached. Therapy? had problems with A&M at that time, the label didn’t promote album properly. I also think, that after huge success with Troublegum A&M expected Therapy? to release Troublegum 2 and they were shocked when they heard “Infernal love”, obviously they were not happy with that. That is when relations with the record company went wrong. Anyway, all we can do is spread a word. I play T? to my friends. Many of them (especially my neighbours :) were impressed with Scopophobia, which I ussually play during the parties at my place. I’m glad that Therapy gained some new fans here in Lithuania as well :). It’s great, that T? came to Lithaunia and played in B2gether festival. Lots of people who never heard Therapy? before, were very impressed by their performance.

Re: Radiohead - In Rainbows in Other Bands & Artists

I liked “The Bends”, “OK computer” was good enough too, though I still think it’s one of the most overrated rock albums. Their later albums were almost impossible to listen to (with exception of several songs). And I feel the same about “In Rainbows”. For me it’s some annoying cacophony of sounds. Seems as if they drinked a lot, then smoked dope, then drinked and then smoked again and then recorded this album during one day. However I really liked that idea of downloading the album for the price that you decide.

Re: Please help me choose what Therapy album I should get next? in General Therapy? Topics

How can anyone recommend “Infernal Love”, if the person asked for an album, closest to “Troublegum”??? I think “Infernal Love” is fantastic album, but it’s completely different if compared to Troublegum. In this case I would definitely recommend “High Anxiety”. It’s simillar to Troublegum, but more poppy.
