Knoxville, what I meant to do is give a response to everyone’s definition of what those glory days represent. So, it’s not purely a matter of interperting your question. For the plain answer to your plain question just now (album sales/fanbase in the 90’s), I’d say yes.
Simple…thats what I asked…

Re: Machine Head in Other Bands & Artists
Interesting…I’m not a fan of widdley…
but they did compare the album to Metallica’s Master of Puppets…
So Metallica do tend to get widdley…
though Master of Puppets was their best!

…anyway…
my view is that they could be commercially successful again
with the right promotion…
The only reason I heard about One Cure Fits All was when I joined WOM…
I know other passing fans and they never even heard about the album!
They could make Troublegum 2 and it won’t sell if people don’t hear about it!

Re: Can They have success again? in General Therapy? Topics
will they equal their glory days of the 90’s…I don’t know how many ways you can interpet that??? it’s either yes or no…
You can interpet “success” all the “multiple” ways you want…in the music industry that is album sales & fan base.
And “but why would they need to ‘emulate’ the type of successes of past glory”…why does any band want to play to big crowd and have big album sales???
Either your Gimme under another user name or
I think you might be watching too much Judge Judy.
