Re: Motorhead are touring this november in Other Bands & Artists

Yeah, Lemmy is the man!!!! I’ve seen Motorhead about 6 or 7 times. I had to walk Lemmy to his tour bus once and he gave me a drink from his bottle of Jack…

Thats a shame… Hope all is well, and he seems the kind of guy who’d want to come back and redo the show to make up for it…

What happened??? They played a blinder in Glasgow last week, they didn’t seem to want to stop. Even the encore lasted 6 songs.

Re: Haveyou ever met a rock star and not even realised it? in Other Bands & Artists

Oh, and i’ve just remembered. I once refused the bass player from The View entry to a shed 7 gig for being underage at Glasgow Academy. For some reason that show was licenced for over 18’s only. This was about 4 yrs ago. He stood and shouted abuse at me for about half an hour before going back to Dundee. I had another couple of Run ins with him since The View took off,(threw him and his “Wasted Little DJ” girlfriend out of the Academy at another gig and various other things) but to be fair to him, a few weeks ago he shook my hand and apologized for being an intolerable wee shit that night :D

Re: Haveyou ever met a rock star and not even realised it? in Other Bands & Artists

I met Angus Young when i was about 5.

My Dad’s sister was married to a guy called Billy Young, who was Angus and Malcom’s cousin. When i was 5, my dad took me to my aunt’s house and Angus Young was there visiting his cousin while they were in town to play the Glasgow Apollo. I don’t remember it at all. It wasn’t til i was about 17 and was telling my dad that i was going to and AC/DC concert that he told me about this. :)
