Re: Which period of time was best for metal? in Other Bands & Artists

I’d say 91-94 as well. 91 saw my first ever Donnington Monsters of Rock with AC-DC headlining. A great day out with some great memories. Also went in 92 when Maiden headlined and was there in 94 when T? shared a stage with Pantera and Sepultura which was also the year when Biohazard got unplugged on the new second stage after it got invaded.

Re: Fugazi in Other Bands & Artists

Saw them at Glasgow Barrowlands in ‘92 and at the same venue around 4 years ago. Tickets are usually cheap and normally they have 2 or 3 support acts as well.Good band, but live i have to say i find them kinda boring.
Couple of good albums though, with Repeater being the stand out. Steady Diet of Nothing is worth a listen as well.

3-2 to United
Not that i expected Celtic to get ANYTHING from the game, but after that performance it’s dissapointing not to have got at least a draw. To say that was a soft penalty is an understatement!!!

Re: Awesome Dreams in Chit-Chat

Just to keep the Naked theme going -

I had a dream a few weeks ago that i was in a taxi. When i got to my destination the driver asked for his fare, but i then realised i had no clothes on. After that i can only remember running around town hiding behind lamp-posts and bins and stuff trying to make my way home without being noticed.

There’s probably some kind of deep rooted reason for this, but god only knows what that could be!!!!

Battered haggis from a chipper is enjoyable , but as for all the deep fried mars bars…

No, no, Glasgow has MANY fine eating establishments.

Ok, none of them are in the Barra’s, so , point taken :D

I too enjoy battered haggis from a chippie, but i have never tried a deep fried mars bar!!!

You lot are nuts!! It’s a ROLL, as in “I’ll have a Roll n’ Bacon and a cup o tea please”

Come to Glasgow, go to 1 of the fine eating establishments at The Barra’s and ask for a Bacon Bap and see what happens!!! :D

It just goes to show that Kenny Miller CAN score goals, but i’m starting to think he can only do it wearing a blue jersey!!! Hope he proves me wrong and scores a late winner against Rangers at the end of the month. :D
