Aren’t people from Whitehaven called ‘Jameaters’?

Yeah, by the scum from Workington. And all the people from Whitehaven call Workington people jam eaters as well. It gets a bit confusing sometimes.

I know a family called Tubman, but not Tubnam. I don’t like them tough but i can’t remember why. I sometimes steal milk from their doorstep in the morning.

There’s nothing wrong with Cumbria, it’s the bloody Cumbrians that are the problem! They are so inbred that every single one of them is called ‘Tudnam’ or ‘Tudnam-Tudnam’. They are also thick and rude and have Kendal mint cake to answer for. They don’t deserve those lakes, they really don’t …

Cumbria rules. Just cos its got Whitehaven in it. We have the most nutters in our town per square meter than any other place in the country. I personaly think thats something to be proud of. And therapy? played here once. They never came back again though. Joe Boy Snakes freaked them out.

Where do you see them?

I usually see them in Birmingham, and it is an all-standing old-fashioned gig with booze and fags a-plenty, sorry to hear some places they play are more sedate than that. What is the point of a sedate Motorhead gig?!

Mind you , I am seeing them in Leicester this time, so I hope it ain’t seated there…

Last time was Sheffield city hall. it was an ace show but the place was shite. i had to go outside the building for a ciggie and you couldn’t take your pint away from the bar area. I think they’ve only just started playing places like this on the last tour. fuck knows why. It’s just not the same.
I’ve seen them in glasgow barrowlands a few times, academy in manchester, and at Hyde park the other week.

Re: Motorhead - Kiss of Death in Other Bands & Artists

The gigs are fucking cack now though.

Why do they have to play these big posh places where you cant have a pint or a fag or move away from your seat??

I’ve seen them loads of times in places like barrowlands and that was always miles better atmosphere.

Still can’t wait for the new album mind.

Re: Nurse on vinyl in General Therapy? Topics

I was watching Seinfeld a few week ago. He went in a record shop and the Nurse LP was hanging up on the wall in the background.
I got a little buzz off it.

All you need to know on there.
Neil Cooper was their drummer for the first couple of years.
Thought all the therapy? geeks would know that.

Re: britpop… a reminder in Other Bands & Artists

I always hated The Lightning Seeds when they were all over the place but i found a best of comp in my house the other day and was suprised to find i listened to it all the way through without skipping tracks and thoroughly enjoyed it. Its strange how tastes change as you get older.

Re: CABLE tribute album in Other Bands & Artists

I listened to When Animals Attack on my way to work the other day.
What a fucking awesome album.

Re: Are you a vegetarian? in Chit-Chat

There’s one or two veggies like that. My veggy mate couldn’t resist the lure of a cooked breakfast after a busy night the other week.[/quote]

He doesn’t sound much like a veggie to me. A couple of my mates used to take the piss by trying to get me to eat a bit of their kebab when i was drunk. The cunts. Not that i ever would like. Makes me feel sick.

EVIL ELVIS
LONELY CRYING ONLY

Re: OCFA what do you think? in General Therapy? Topics

It’s a good album but it’s not a brilliant album. The mix is well fucked but I still listen to it a couple of times a week. I mean fucking hell, i listen to some of the worst recorded punk you’ve ever heard and OCFA is not that bad compared to that stuff. I suppose people just expected more from them.
Some of the songs were awesome live though and i’d like Walk Through Darkness and DSA to stay in the set for years to come.
