Hello out there !
First : sorry for mistakes - been a long time since I had to use my English.
I`ve been to this side quite often in the last years.
Today I registered because there are some things I want to say about Therapy?
Last Wednesday they played at my hometown. It was the first time I hadn`t to travel to see them. When I drove home from work I drove past the club, saw the tourbus and thought : why not ?
Got out of the car, walked to the bus and saw Andy :-)))
We had a 1 or 2-minute smalltalk, he signed a CD for me and said that he would put me on the guestlist for the evening. I thanked him and spent the rest of the day wondering wether he would really do it or not…
Well, when I came to the club this evening I was on the list. Of course I would have paid for a ticket but seeing that he kept his promise made me REALLY HAPPY ! So one thing I want to say is a very big THANK YOU, Mr. Cairns :-))))) It`s a great feeling to love a band that respects the fans !
The other thing I want to say is that “Suicide pact…” is one of the best records in the history of music. Full stop :D
And the last thing : Therapy? will never get the Nobel Prize for Literature but in my humble opinion they have written some of the best lines you can find in music :
“god kicks with both feet and keeps his shoes on”
“so scared of Dying I forgot how to live ”
and :
“Iknow that you need music more than you need love” - terribly sad and terribly true :)
OK, hope I didn`t bore you too much.
