Re: Turning the Significant Other into a T? Fan in Chit-Chat
Played my girlfriend some Infernal love and she loved it and bought Troublegum which she liked too. She says Andy can’t sing though? I dunno about that but I am tone deaf. She also really enjoyed shameless, mainly the pretty upbeat tracks.

Neil
And
Andy,
Michael will
rock your flaming hole
seriously seriously
It’s poetic too because it’s a new type of poem called a “fib” whereby it follows the fibonaci (sp) sequence of numbers. Start with 1, then the next number is the sum of the previous two.
1
1
2
3
5
8
Each line of the poem has syllabels equivalent to the numbers.
So it’s artistic and creative.

Exactly. Same director. Same type of media satire. Shoulda put it on my list as well.
Yeah agreed, RoboCop and Starship Troopers are great films, even without the satire and social critiscism put in which I have also found; most people don’t notice. “Starship Troopers is so cheesy” etc because they just don’t “get it” :P
Have you read Starship Troopers the book? Completely different to the movie but a great story in it’s own right.

Re: HI. Can anyone help me out? in Therapy? Buy, Sell & Trade
Crazy Cocaine Eyes
Hard Work Hope
Mama, You Can Call The Ambulance Now
Tango Romeo (Original Demo)
Teethgrinder (New Recording)
Disgracelands (New Recording)
Freeze The Remains
Loose (Photek Remix)
All of the above I have found on ebay, just have a search about for them.
You can get Freeze the remains from a CD Kerrang put out a while ago and it sometimes pops up on ebay.
As for:
Disgracelands (Acoustic)
and
Opal Mantra (Acoustic)
I have no idea where/what these are and I’d love to know if anyone knows where I can get them? PM me if you know, please :)

Amy Winehouse is so fucking ugly I actually feel physically sick when I see her.
And no, she doesn’t have a hot body.. *shivers*.. she’d break if you stuck a cock in her. If she didn’t pass out, seizure or dribble on you from the overuse of drugs.

Missing the point much? It was supposed to be like you were watching someone’s home video. You know what It’s like when you have a camcorder. You always film too much that you will never watch again. It was going for realism. I think the pacing was perfect. :)
Missing the point? The point is, yes, to show it as a home movie but the point of the MOVIE (Cloverfield, to clarify) is to entertain, not follow some dim-witted character you hate anyway around a boring party watching a couple have a domestic. It’s not fun in real life and it’s not fun in a movie either.

I think he meant the beginning dragged and dragged.. there’s no doubt about that. The party was a snooooore.

Theres a thin but very disctinct line between spending your life playing games and playing a few games but still having a social life. What do you do when you’re not at the pub? If it’s watch loads of tv; i’d rather play games than consume most of the crap that’s on the box.

Save Windows XP in Chit-Chat
Quote (author unknown):
Microsoft will end OEM and shrink-wrapped sales of Windows XP on June 30, 2008, forcing users to shift to Vista. (System builders, meaning those who do white-box PCs, can sell XP through December 31.) Don’t let that happen!
Millions of us have grown comfortable with XP and don’t see a need to change to Vista. It’s like having a comfortable apartment that you’ve enjoyed coming home to for years, only to get an eviction notice. The thought of moving to a new place — even with the stainless steel appliances, granite countertops, and maple cabinets (or is cherry in this year?) — just doesn’t sit right. Maybe it’ll be more modern, but it will also cost more and likely not be as good a fit. And you don’t have any other reason to move.
That’s exactly the conclusion people have come to with Vista. For most of us, there’s really no reason to move to it — yet we don’t have a choice. When that strong desire to stick with XP became obvious in spring 2007, major computer makers such as Dell and Hewlett-Packard quietly reintroduced new XP-based systems (but just to business customers, so as not to offend Microsoft). Come June 30, however, even that option goes away.
So what to do? Let Microsoft decide where your personal and enterprise software “lives”? Or send a loud and clear message that you don’t want to move?
We’re going for the loud-and-clear option. Join us, and tell Microsoft that you want to keep XP available indefinitely. Not for another six months or a year but indefinitely.
And ask your friends and colleagues to join in, too. Just point them to SaveXP.com for a quick link to this page. And if you’d like to publish our countdown animation on your Web site to help promote this petition, e-mail Executive Editor Galen Gruman for the code snippet.
Don’t think Microsoft will listen? Consider this: Although Microsoft denies that anything is wrong with Vista or that most people don’t want it, the company has already postponed XP’s demise by six months. That’s a start, but it’s not good enough.
Microsoft doesn’t have to admit failure; it can just say it will keep XP available indefinitely due to customer demand. It can take that opportunity to try again with a better Vista, or just move on to the next version that maybe this time we’ll all actually want.
There is a precedent for that, too: In many respects, Vista is like the Windows Millennium Edition that was meant to replace Windows 98 in 2000 but caused more trouble than it was worth. At that time, Windows 2000 was promising but didn’t support a lot of hardware, so users were stuck between two bad choices. Without admitting Millennium’s failure, Microsoft quietly put Windows 98 back on the market until the fixed version of Windows 2000 (SP1) was available. Microsoft needs to do something like that again today.
Make your voice heard to Microsoft. Sign our petition to save XP today. We will present it to Microsoft.

Re: Zelda : Twilight Princess in Chit-Chat
I digress, pubs are crap; you pay way too much for a bit of beer. I don’t mind them every now and then.
It’s possible to play games and have a social life. Yesterday I played for a couple of hours after college and then wen’t to a gig.
Got pretty plastered, the band started talking about Campaign for Nuclear Disarment (CND) and I stood up and shouted “FUCK CND!!” :D
Then Michael Eavis came in collecting charity money or something (For those that don’t know he’s the one that started the Glastonbury Festival) so I introduced myself hehe. Later I met him again and accidentally knocked all my ale over his nice new trainers!! Hahahaa i was very sorry :P
