..also videos for Lonely Cryin Only, Little Tongues First, Bad Karma Follows You Around. There’s also an early one for Meat Abstract, and one for Innocent X (I think)

Re: Who is the face of nurse? in General Therapy? Topics

Wow! I always assumed the picture on ‘Trigger Inside’ to be a young Andy Cairns! He has said that when he was young he had big glasses and a blonde bowl haircut, and that picture definately fits that bill.
But, it could well be Dahmer - I never thought of that.

Re: What Happened to Fyfe? in General Therapy? Topics

1. Chevron 2. Inferno No 1 3. Dulse 4. Toxic Coup
3. Little Less Nothing (3 track CD single, 2 tracks on 7”)
1. Little Less Nothing 2. Eyes on the Prize 3. Callow

If anyone knows absolutely anything else of interest about them, please let me know!!

3. ‘Grandfather’ shirt (s/sleeve blue & white stripes with Gemil & ‘Therapy?’ written very small on the front)
4. Infernal Love baseball shirt (l/sleeve, black sleeves and red body with ‘Therapy?’ written on the front and ‘Infernal Love’ on the back)

Re: Trigger Inside Joey Beltram mixes in General Therapy? Topics

I haven’t a clue! I’ve been trying to figure out how to get Roni’s page working too!! I just sent him that stuff on standard format.
He’s using WinZip, which is a pain in the arse. You’ll have to ask him how to get it working.

Ahh, looks like Christian’s got hold of ‘SWT’ & ‘Reality’
They’re really kick-arse, I got them about a month ago and they haven’t come off my decks

Re: help in General Therapy? Topics

Back to the Fyfe vs. Graham argument again.. Fyfe is a totally self-taught drummer while Graham is a jazz trained drummer. To me, Fyfe shows more initiative and was willing to do some crazy things while Graham sticks a lot to his technique, which has to be said, is excellent. Basically, I think Fyfe is an excellent ‘un-trained’ drummer and Graham is an excellent ‘trained’ drummer. By the way, to say Fyfe didn’t write anything is ridiculous - he has songwriting credits on all of Babyteeth, Pleasure Death & Nurse as well as splitting vocals 50/50 with Andy. To me, Fyfe started to lose interest (in writing) around Troublegum, and lost total interest (in the band) around Infernal Love. I have always thought (especially since I’m a drummer myself) that Fyfe’s contribution has been almost totally ignored. It’s also a shame that Divers have split up - they had real potential.

Re: uaneen fitzsimons tribute in General Therapy? Topics

I got a recording of it plus an interview from 2FM radio. Although he played Screamager & Lonely Cryin Only, they only broadcast Screamager.

Hey, I have that Kerrang! So, that’s you, huh? Cool, seems
a lot of people are getting/have got a Gemil tattoo.

Re: Favourite Videos in General Therapy? Topics

There’s also two vids for Stories - the first is the colour one but the second is much better..it shows Andy kidnapped in a warehouse and Fyfe & Michael beating on him looking for information. The two lads bring out a little boy, ask him a question and the boy points at Andy. You just know it’s all downhill for Andy then! It got banned ‘cos they kill Andy at the end.

Re: Brendon of Brainsaw X… in General Therapy? Topics

The Trigger Inside mix is pretty good - sounds like one of Ministry’s mixes (I know it’s not btw!)It’s kinda industrial. The 2nd mix is the exact same except with no vocals. Oh, the Die Laughing mixes by David Holmes are absolute bollox - avoid!

Re: Favourite Videos in General Therapy? Topics

There isn’t blood in Nausea, it’s probably a food stuff like cranberry sauce or something ‘cos the video is set at a dinner party. It’s cool ‘cos you see Therapy? losing the rag and goin’ crazy - cool video. Trigger Inside is cool ‘cos it deals with a guy losing control. I like Meat Abstract ‘cos it shows Charles Manson - and anything to do with ‘ol Charlie is fine by me!

Re: Brendon of Brainsaw X… in General Therapy? Topics

The Teethgrinder 12” has 2 remixes, one of which is on the Nausea promo. Remixes are better off on 12” so you should get that instead of looking for ‘Nausea’, and anyway, the other remix is better than the one that’s on Nausea. I think it’s called Tee Hee Dub, it’s the longer one that’s more groove orientated - easily the best of all Therapy? remixes. The worst has to be Sabres of Paradises slaughtering of Nowhere…the stuff of nightmares!!!

Re: Iron Man bootleg in General Therapy? Topics

It was recorded at the Auditorium in Firenze, Italy on 26/3/94.
It’s the same bootleg as Shock Treatment but not as good ‘cos Shock Treatment is a CD.

Re: Therapy? lighter and bottle opener in General Therapy? Topics

Iris - you are indeed a lunatic, hats off to you! I can’t help but feel that I’m falling behind in the Therapy? collectors table - it’s just that I’ve been collecting all sorts of Pet Lamb, Wilt, and Soundgarden shit lately, that I can’t concentrate on Therapy? But, no doubt about it, when I put my mind to it I can be as ‘loopers’ as the rest of you! Except for Iris maybe, she’s nuts!

Re: How did YOU get into Therapy? ? in General Therapy? Topics

A friend of mine forced me to listen to Troublegum, I thought it was okay so I taped it. Then heard a live gig on the radio from the Feile
festival, they played Teethgrinder first and I was then hooked - Teethgrinder was the most fucked up thing I’d ever heard and I wanted more. Teethgrinder was on Nurse so I bought it. Then bought Babyteeth and Pleasure Death but I thought they were shit (now I love them of course)Then bought Infernal Love when it came out. It was then I realised I had a problem, and it was only beginning!! Since then, I’ve nearly bankrupted myself from buying all sorts of Therapy? shit,
but I’ll keep on doing it!

Re: Good Fuckin Night in General Therapy? Topics

I bought the US release of Troublegum lately for 25 US cents! I only bought it for the 22 minutes of ‘You are my Sunshine’ which isn’t
on the UK version. By the way, here in Ireland it isn’t as easy as you all think to get releases.
For example, I had to order the 2CD version of ‘So much…’ from England ‘cos I didn’t see it here!! England and mainland Europe are definately the easiest places to get Therapy? releases.

I want my money back CD in General Therapy? Topics

Title: I want my money back CD

Is the first 30 seconds of ‘Nausea’ missing from everyone’s
CD, or is it just mine? (I’ve always meant to ask but kept
forgetting)

Re: Good Fuckin Night in General Therapy? Topics

Dunno - I’m afraid to count! I even started collecting those
crappy cd single promo’s - the ones with no sleeve, but a pink
sticker! Now they’re pathetic, but I still have to have ‘em.
Also, recently bought a dodgy Suicide Pact CDR Acetate with no
sleeve - at least it only cost $5! Also bought a drum skin
signed by Fyfe, Andy & Michael for $50, even though it just sits
in the same place and will never be used. But fuck it, it does
make me happy when I get this stuff, so I’ll keep on doing it!!

Re: Good Fuckin Night in General Therapy? Topics

Well, I think I’m the sadest bastard of all;
I’ve everything on 7”,12”,12”promo, cd, cd
promo, even cassette promo, plus a million boot-
legs. Plus I’ve to consider money spent on my
load of merchandise, going to gigs etc…
Isn’t it funny how you try really hard to get an
item, pay loads of money for it, listen to it
once and then forget about it and put it away?
Are we mad?

Re: My Little Funhouse in General Therapy? Topics

I’ve heard their album - nothing to get excited about.
They’ve now changed their name to ‘Tripswitch’, by the
way.
