Re: Changes to message board categories in Your Feedback & Suggestions
Aw haw! Yes! I was logged on to a different computer earlier, now I’m back on my regular one and the posts are all white again!
Praise be Jesus! The world seems all right again!

Re: Changes to message board categories in Your Feedback & Suggestions
Am I crazy or is the ‘white post, grey post’ thing new as well?

Re: Censorship!!! in Your Feedback & Suggestions
True, but Colin’s post was only up for a short while so I guess a lot of people didn’t see it in time.

Re: Censorship!!! in Your Feedback & Suggestions
Colin? got a little irate with the guy who started the thread - lots of expletives. Oooh, very exciting stuff :)

Re: Stories Behind The Songs in Your Feedback & Suggestions
There’s a bit of an interesting story there, actually. The music for Jude the Obscene was written years earlier, for Andy’s other band Catweazle (which also had Michaels brother Charlie on drums). I’m not sure about the lyrics, though I definately remember Andy explaining all the songs from Infernal Love in some magazine at the time?.
Maybe, someone (read: mods) could dig that article out? ;) It was probably Kerrang or Raw, I think.

How about the closing theme from The Incredible Hulk?
Now that was a tear-jerker that made you think! :D

Re: Who Was innocentX in this board?? in Your Feedback & Suggestions
I think he was from New York, and yeah, he pretty much pissed everyone off.
Teethgrinder kicked him out 2 or 3 years ago, but he was let back in later, abut then quickly returned to his old ways. He then got kicked out again.
Full of self-righteous, opinionated crap. No loss to the board.

A relatively straight forward solution - try a band with a less active messageborad - Wilt for example ;). Alternatively, ignore all the threads with dull sounding titles. Take control of your life.
Dear Citizen,
Thanks for your lightning fast response. However, while the Wilt message board is rather inactive at the moment, I do find the members that are there somewhat ‘up themselves’ - particularly the ones who post just one message under the guise of someone else from another message board. I find this tactic very deceptive, and as such, would perfer to remain on here.
Secondly, while ignoring threads with dull titles is a good idea, I do find that no matter how interesting the title is, the content invariably consists of inane posts from certain members going ‘off’ topic. One such member, I suspect, is indeed the same deceptive poster I have mentioned previously.
But I agree that I need to take control of my life. So, from today onwards, I have taken out a years subscription to the ‘Readers Digest’. Hopefully, this bold move will enlighten me to a world of knowledge that I never knew existed.
Finally, thank you Citizen for all your good work. You are indeed a revelation!
Yours sincerely,
Matt Bellamy

Re: Changes to the boards since High Anxiety? in Your Feedback & Suggestions
Dear Citizen,
I don’t like having to read 200 new posts on Therapy’s message board everyday. Where and to whom shall I complain? I was thinking of doing so in said message board, but hence my dilema - the replies gathered by posting such a complaint will surely only lead to an increased amount of posts. Should I withhold my complaint until the traffic on the message board becomes less busy, therefore resulting in less replies, or should I strike now ‘while the iron’s hot’ as such? Guffaw, guffaw, guffaw!
Yours sincerely,
Anonymous

Re: Videos in Your Feedback & Suggestions
Yep, proper date was March 4th, 1994.
Also, “Innocent Abstraction” was recorded on 15/8/91 not 1992, as stated.
Sort it out, official site people!

This new album has gained a lot of interest.
Too right!
Welcome all!!!!
In fairness, the band finally having a proper website and a new message board (well, new to this site anyway!) is the deciding factor, I think.
:D
Granted though, there does seem to be more interest this time than with Shameless. Which is a good thing.

Re: Wha’ Happened? in Your Feedback & Suggestions
I didn’t like that old front page (…internet, motherfucker), ‘cos I’m at work and having the word “motherfucker” on display isn’t the best idea in the world!
Plus the fact it took ages to get off the screen once you clicked it.
Rene, how about if the homepage has a Gemil with “Therapy? - Official” written underneath it?
Then click from that into the homepage we see now?

Re: WOW, what happened to this site? in Your Feedback & Suggestions
Rene has been running the teethgrinder.com page for the last few years. It is an unofficial site, but had the best message board for Therapy? fans (even Michael McKeegan posts here sometimes as MIKEHELL).
So, basically, the band took notice and asked Rene to re-develop the official page. This is the result, everything has been changed (it looks more like the teethgrinder.com site - which is still running), and the message board has been brought to the official site. That’s why you’ll see people with hundreds of posts dating back to 2000.
It’s not really a ‘new’ message board, but is new to the therapyquestionmark.co.uk.
And, you’re right - the site is great!!

Yeah, I spotted that to but I thought it was just me missing something.
It’s a little annoying alright.
