Re: Metallica in Other Bands & Artists

Don’t get me wrong, when the last slayer album came out I purchased it immediately and enjoyed it(still do), but there was nothing groundbreaking or new or stand out on it. It was just slayer which is ok. Personally I think it was a step back from God Hates us All but that’s just me. In the end they just seem to be on auto pilot just like Metallica.

Re: Metallica in Other Bands & Artists

I’m going to call it now. This album will suck. Not that I want it to, but I’m tired of getting disappointed since that tragedy after and justice for all.

Every time there’s a new album about to come out, lars will say it’s a throw back to the old days, the heaviest since kill ‘em all, more challenging than master of puppets, and then the first single is something like “Aint my bitch”. This time will be no different. I’m just being realistic this time.

Also, a nice surprise this year already is that the new Testament amazingly is brutal as fuck. And I wasn’t really a testament fan back in the day, but it is awesome to hear that style of music with todays production “standards”. as far as I’m concerned thrash is not dead though some of the founders should probably die or retire. Slayer included.

Re: BBC Sessions - music through a cheap transistor in General Therapy? Topics

Mine just arrived from across the pond. I’m digging the hell out of it.

So… can I send someone some money for a cd-r of this to be shipped to the states, since it’s fucking impossible for me to obtain it through legal means, and begging for a cd-r seems to be a little higher on the moral scale then scavenging bit-torrent.
