Re: Jagermeister Gig, Bristol, April 2012 - My Thoughts in Therapy? Live

My neck hurt at work on Monday. I might live in Manchester but there was no way I was missing that gig. Hope the boys come back up here later this year. Last time they were up here at the back end of 2009, they played quite a lot of old stuff (Teethgrinder, Innocent X, Punishment Kiss etc from memory) alongside the Crooked Stuff, which also gelled well.

Anyone know the setlist from that one? It isn’t on SetlistFM.

I was also down the front, tall chap, almost in front of Andy. I thought the setlist was bang on. Get Your Dead Hand, Living In The Shadow and Ghost Trio all sounded great and worked well alongside the Troublegum stuff. It wasn’t really the sort of gig where I was expecting Infernal Love songs, and it’s always great getting Knives, Teethgrinder and Isolation, along with the Unbeliever curve ball. I had a brilliant time.

Re: WOW! Hetfield namechecks Therapy? in General Therapy? Topics

That was a quality day. When Donington used to be a good old laugh. T? deserved that slot even if they did only get it by chance. Great gig.

There was a lot more tolerance in those days to bands that peeps might not have been into but they gave em respect and checked em out anyway. Happy days. Can’t believe it was 12 years ago!
