Be safe mate and go for High Anxiety first as its more accessible if you prefer that side of Therapy?, then slowly but surely give the others a try :)
It’s not the accessibility I have a problem with, I just dodn’t like SPYF particularly. There are a couple of decent tracks on it, but I’m just not a fan of the album as a whole. :)
But High Anxiety may well be my next purchase (after I’ve pre-ordered Akercocke’s new one… :D ).

What’s the point off asking then?
Because I didn’t like SP, and I wanted to know if the albums between that and OCFA were in a similar vein to that album or if they were different before I spent my hard earned. :)

I have. I tripped over when pissed on the way to see Emperor back in 1999 and hurt my wrist. Didn’t stop me going, though…

Welcome, SM!
What is this other board where people get uppity? Will you post a link? Then I’ll decide whether you should attempt to avoid me or not! :)
Cheers again for the welcome, folks. Seems like a friendly bunch on here.
Mrs H, the board I was talking about is http://www.statusquo.co.uk/cgi-bin/ultimatebb.cgi
However, can I just stress, I am not a fan of the band, I joined for a different reason, and is also the reason why I came up with the name Sylvestre Matuschka since I wanted a pseudonym that wouldn’t be recognised. You will only see my posts on there in the Chat section, which can be quite fun at times. But some real barneys can break out sometimes.

I saw Porcupine Tree last night in Preston at the 53 Degrees.
I’m pushing for them to get Therapy? on at this venue,it’s about the size of Manchester Academy, really big stage, good lighting and an awesome PA system.
I reckon Therapy? would go down a storm at this place.
It that the place that used to be called The Mill, just around the corner from The Lime Kiln pub? I saw Therapy?play there back in (if memory serves) 1993, and they were blinding!!!

Re: New member here! in New Members (Introduce Yourself)
Don’t worry, I’m not in the business of pissing people off deliberately. :)
I have read the guidelines, but what I meant was, on another board I go on people get a bit uppity about the slightest thing that could be seen as controversial or non-PC, and I was just wondering how the land lies on here about that. :)

Re: Some questions (which may have already been posted, and if so I apologise) in Your Feedback & Suggestions
Yep, just found the Control panel now I’m sober… :o
Some interesting points about avatars there, although my sentiments are with the original poster (Dermot) about individuality. But hey, it ain’t my board to run, so whatever you choose is fine by me. :)

Yep, I’m a lazy bastard - that’s why asked you lot!!!
Incidentally, an avatar is not like an aardvark. I made that mistake once. It turned ugly… :p
Now, what’s this Control Panel thingy? Yes, I’m being lazy again. And you know what? I don’t care!!! Where is it? Tell me tell me tell me!!!! :p

Some questions (which may have already been posted, and if so I apologise) in Your Feedback & Suggestions
Title: Some questions (which may have already been posted, and if so I apologise)
1. How do you change your profile details?
2. Why can’t we have avatars?
3. Why can’t we quote someone until there has already been a response?
4. Is there a way of sending someone a private message?
As I say, sorry if these have been answered elsewhere, but quite honestly I can’t be arsed to trawl through every single thread! ;)

Re: New member here! in New Members (Introduce Yourself)
What makes you think I am a Lard connoiseur??? Except my board name… :o ;)
Actually, I had heard of the real Sylvestre before I was aware of Lard, but it’s true to say I picked the name for another board when I was thinking of a board name when listening to that song. :)

Re: New member here! in New Members (Introduce Yourself)
Cheers!!!
Caffeinebomb - why exactly (aside from the fact you seem to be a Wildhearts fan ;) ) are you an asshole? Or is that something that will become abundantly clear the longer I stick around??? ;)
A question - what exactly is permissible on this board??? See, my philosophy is this - I go onto message boards to have a laugh, discuss various issues sensibly and not get into petty rows with people who feel brave behind their keyboards. But my sense of humour and some of my comments have been described as a bit non-PC. Actually, I lie - I don’t do PC at all. So, just so I know not to say anything likely to get me booted, what can I and what can’t I do??? :)

Title: A question for the “more die hard than me” fans
I lost interest in Therapy? after Suicide Pact (sorry, did not like that one), but using the theory that all bands can make a duff album I recently bought One Cure Fits All, and I have to say, it’s pretty enjoyable.
What are the albums they released in between like? Any advice???

New member here! in New Members (Introduce Yourself)
Title: New member here!
Hello people!!!
Been a Therapy? fan since around 92 when I heard Pleasure Death.
I kind of lost interest (not just in Therapy? but new music in general) when life circumstances meant I could no longer afford to make mistakes like buying “Suicide Pact” (sorry wasn’t a fan of that one), but recently bought One Cure Fits All on a whim, and my interest is renewed!!!
So, here I am!!! Is it friendly on here? Who should I avoid?????;)
