Favourite music & artists:	Therapy? Nirvana, Joy Zipper, Radio Head, Granddaddy, Supertramp (especially Crisis? What Crisis? and Even in the Quietest Moments). New Order. Loved Troublegum by Therapy? by the way and I'm listening (as I write this) to Infernal Love
Favourite books & authors:	One of the best recent books, Atomised by Michel Houllebecq; also Hangover Square by Patrick Hamilton and A Confederacy of Dunces by John Kennedy Toole. The Peculiar Memoirs of Thomas Penman by Bruce Robinson (the guy who wrote Withnail & I) was brilliant as, indeed, is anything by Phillip K Dick. Non-fiction: a great book by the wife of Joy Division's Ian Curtis, called Touching from a Distance is worth a read
Favourite movies, stars & directors:	Difficult. In days gone by I'd say Pulp Fiction and Reservoir Dogs but Jonathan Ross has put me off Tarantino who I now regard as a bit corny because of the Ross associations. I'd have to go with kid's movies: Monsters Inc; Toy Story 1 & 2, the Lemony Snicket thing with Jim Carrey was good and so was the Azkhaban Potter movie
