Re: underrated bands? in Other Bands & Artists

I have all Admiral Freebee CD’s and I think they’re good to but I think they would’ve had more success if they had made a better mix of rock and calm songs instead of only calm songs (latest CD had good songs but way too many calm songs).

Re: underrated bands? in Other Bands & Artists

I think the ‘problem’ with most underrated bands simply is that they don’t sell themselves to commercial stuff and all that… So much for the ten year plan ;)

Yeah I think FLC is a bit underrated, seeing how awesome they’re live and how they could be more famous considering they’re from the big apple. I’m sure there are others, but I can’t think of them right now :-/

Re: New game -… in my pants in Other Bands & Artists

Rammstein - Du Hast Mich in my pants

I know the song is called Du Hast but I added Mich because it sounded funny :)

You SO need to post a larger version of that guitar.

bump into him, pat him on the shoulder while shaking his hand and then asking what the hell he’s doing in my house.

Re: Whats the craziest thing ouve done as a T? fan in General Therapy? Topics

Well it ain’t that shocking but I once took all of my T? cd’s (I have them all except for Babyteeth and So Much For the Ten Year Plan) and listened to them without stopping, then stayed up at night to watch my two dvd’s and listened to my favourite T? songs again the day after.

Re: Depression - Can’t hack it any more in Chit-Chat

If someone tries to bully me in a situation where I can’t beat the crap out of him (school in my situation, work in yours) I just laugh at them in a ‘haha you’re so stupid to be acting like a dick’ kind of way. This may get them pissed, but since you have the same rights as them/him they can’t really do you anything.

OR

You’ll most likely get in a situation where you cross him in a corridor or something with no one watching. He’ll most likely want to take the opportunity to get one at you. Make eye contact, don’t look afraid (only gives them confidence) and before the bastard has a chance to say anything you stop him and tell him you’re not taking his shit no more in a way he can’t say anything back. Walk on without giving a chance to reply.

Re: Who is your favourite guitarist and the greatest guitarist of all time? in Other Bands & Artists

Well the first name that comes to mind is of course Jimi Hendrix. He could play accords no one else could and plays better with his teeth than some people with their hands lol. So technically he’s he best.

My favourite, however, is Huey Morgan the Fun Lovin’ Criminal. If you’ve seen him live or heard the last album you probably know what I mean, he’s awesome at solo’s and he’s my favourite (though I’m not saying he’s the best) guitar player ‘cos he’s so damn cool.

And not to forget Michael MCKeegan of course, ‘Evil Priest’, need I say more? ;) I like to see him jumping up and down at gigs and spitting around :)

Re: Need some information on Jam Jar Jail in General Therapy? Topics

Well it’s not like I really didn’t have a clue what it was about but in case I got it wrong completely, you know, I don’t want to be telling lies about my favourite band do I? ;) I like your interpretation Dermot, ‘cos it’s much like mine. My idea was that the ‘tourist’ was actually a girl who comes to the city (you walk just like a tourist) which is actually not all that great (which was kinda clear) but only for a local concert and pays no attention to the guy singing it (‘I know you need music more than you need love’). And then the girl wants nothing to do with the strange people of the town (including him) and turns him down and he gets kinda frustrated about it. Though, with all songs, there’s usually more than one interpretation possible.

Re: New guy in New Members (Introduce Yourself)

Oh, I forgot to say something about the DVDs. I have Therapy? Gold with the clips and Scophobia which I think we all know :)

Re: New guy in New Members (Introduce Yourself)

Thanks for the welcomes.

Yeah I have seen FLC ample times and it’s true that they’re really great life. Huey plays some awesome guitar and it’s funny to see him taking another almost every song (same goes for his cigarettes). The first time I saw them was in Herentals (where I live) which was quite exceptional for them to come to such a small concert. Second time was also in Lokeren, a few days after Therapy? (who opened the festival there, by the way) and last time was in Opglabbeek.

Well I asked for it in the mediamarkt in Antwerp but he said Babyteeth wasn’t produced anymore (it was quite recently). Then I went looking around in the ‘unofficial’ stores for quite some time. They had Infernal Love in almost every one of those shops, but pity not Babyteeth. Well I think I can call myself lucky I managed to get my hands on pleasure death via Proxis :)

I play mostly RTS like Warcraft III (both reign as chaos as frozen throne). Used to play online regularly, until school started off again. Atm I’m playing mostly Medieval II, but I also like to play RP games now and then (I have the whole Gothic collection).

Yeah my dad’s quite cool. My mom has a good music taste to and really respects irish people (as do I) so the link to Therapy? was quickly made. It’s actually via my parents that I learned to differ good music from bad I guess :D And we also have a great collection of CD’s, about 500 with a full collection of U2 and lots of Pink Floyd and Moby, to name a few.

Need some information on Jam Jar Jail in General Therapy? Topics

I have to present a song for class and I of course immediately decided to pick a Therapy?-song. Though it was hard to decide I finally picked Jam Jar Jail, which is one of the lesser renowned songs on one of the lesser renowned albums I think, but I think it’s an absolutely great song so I chose it. I’ve been reading the text and it’s probably me but I’m not really sure what the song is about? Someone help me out please?

New guy in New Members (Introduce Yourself)

Hi there. I’m from belgium. I’ve only been a real fan of Therapy? for about 2 years as of yet, but I’ve always liked there music. I started liking Therapy? when my dad was playing ‘Infernal Love’ (quite loud, to) while he was washing up. The lyrics and the sounds really dragged me along and I soon got to listening to the three cd’s we had other from Infernal Love which were Nurse, Semi-Detached and Suicide Pact - You First. I thought they were great so I quickly got to buying most other CD’s, ordered the ‘Irony?’ shirt from this site and also bought two DVDs during those years. Now I have most CD’s except for Babyteeth (can’t find it anywhere), and So Much for the Ten Year Plan. And of course the limited edition CD’s like ‘have a merry fuckin’ christmas’ but I doubt many people have those (though I would’ve loved to hear Andy singing ‘with or without you’). I first saw Therapy? in Lokeren, they played a really good gig there and I’ve remained a devoted fan since then. Apart from Therapy? I like many other rock and metal bands, but also Fun Lovin’ Criminals who are about second to me. I also like sports and gaming.
