…and play musical guitar player-chairs, rent The Aviator again, get ears pinned, face lifted and dreads extended…should be out by early 2019… :-) As far as T? goes, I reckon them taking their time is a good thing. Let them get it right.

Steve- where are you in the US?
But yeah - when the new one comes out, I’m going to drum up as much interest as I can.
I’m in California, about 60 miles north of Los Angeles. Been allowing/forcing my friends to listen to T? for about a year now. Most dig them, but only a few have gone out and bought some of the albums.

Hey there! Good to see another American T? fan. I can relate to the fact that the band is pretty much unknown here, but let’s keep up the good fight and spread the word through the music.
Hopefully, the new album gets a proper U.S. release, and the band gets the Stateside shot it deserves.

I was never a fan of Wicked Man. Always skip it. Sounds like Dick Dale on valium to me.

Ahhhhaa! Learn something new everyday. Who ever said the WoM wasn’t good for anything? :) Can’t currently listen to the song as I’m at work and MySpace is verboten.

Where did you get this quote? I wiki-ed Graham Hopkins and it wasn’t there.

Re: Why do Therapy? ignore their pop side these days? in General Therapy? Topics
Agreed. Lose it All and Rain Hits Concrete would probably sound much harsher given a SPYF type treatment. Likewise, in my view, a song like Six Mile Water or Sister would probably be deemed more commercial if mixed and produced differently.

Re: Why do Therapy? ignore their pop side these days? in General Therapy? Topics
You didn’t think OCFA was melodic and poppy? Personally, I’m hoping the new one has more of a SPYF or NANE vibe. Although, I do enjoy their melodic moments, as well.

Not guilty, sir. Copied it off Wikipedia. Was just looking for the most blowhardy album title ever. ;-)

Just heard it now. It’s quite good in a raw way. I hear a sorta Nurse-like sound. Interesting guitar. Can’t wait to hear what they do with it.

Re: NANE - Best T? album by a mile! in General Therapy? Topics
Fair enough. But, you’re right about it being personal taste and all, because I love the guitar on NANE for precisely the reasons you do not. Fat, punched up mid. In your face distortion. Love it. But I love the band in all their incarnations, though. Cheers.

Interesting. Don’t really agree, but what would be a better sounding T? album, guitar wise, in your opinion?

Re: NANE - Best T? album by a mile! in General Therapy? Topics
Sorry about the resurrection, guys. I just discovered T? about a year ago and have been buying up their catalog (have all the full lengths, anyway) over the last few months. It’s fucking great to experience so much new (to me, anyway) great stuff in such a short time. It’s strange, I live in the U.S. and it seems almost no one knows this band out here. Trying to spread the word!

I dig the way “Perish the Thought” angrily flows into “Here Be Monsters,” Andy’s menacing growl/soulful wail, the complex, crazed drums and the energy and ferocity of it all. IMO, definitely their best.
