Re: Magic Mountain in General Therapy? Topics

It’s great meditation on city life and all the counter image that divided by technology in the hand of spring, which is god’s favorite season…and, yeah; it has answers.

Re: Therapy? in Metal Hammers Metal Detector. in General Therapy? Topics

They had given 8 to Suicide Pact back then ( Said something like “hard way to polished a common rock record, but you know, it’s Therapy all the way.) But ı fully understand the nature of the selections, to explain non fans, built a standard recipe for the others-but ı also remember at the very same section mighty Ginger chose his favorite Ramones record and chit7chat about it with great lines like ” İf ı could be in a band, that’s the band” - I wish they hire someone ( I don’t know, from Amen, Left Side Brain, The Answers…???) who link the band by the heart way to keep us (fans) happy, like Clowns Glore way happy…

Re: new T? song on myspace in General Therapy? Topics

I think most important thing behind this song is idea. I guess they make a whole organic feeling that seeded on the record. Also it has a big drum+bass sound (drums seems bit robotic and un mature but has a ideal background reflect) İn the other hand İt’s an opening song and sadly it’s the worse one after Sprung (ı Don’t know if it’s better than the outro though, no, just joking-.// He’s not that kind of girl, Gimme back my brain, Knives, Epilepsy ???? Come on! I will realy miss the “bang” but after that; who knows?

Re: It’s a sad day in Chit-Chat

Yes Mr. Yavuz invented “Iskender” but my point is; he invented the “system” that create Döner. He was a some kind of inventor like Da Vinci (yeah ı know İt’s sound silly.) İn the other hand roots of Döner was started with the idea…Whatever, my dear sourtimes friend Nitro has a good point here; Mr Mahmut use all this ideas through the sandwich. İt’s not the way you “built” it, it’s the way you “serve” it.

Re: It’s a sad day in Chit-Chat

Actually Döner Kebab was invented by Yavuz İskenderoğlu in Bursa about 130 years ago. İt based on a idea that use the meat fire vertical. So it improves with lot of side codes and eating habits. I think this Mahmut guy use this technique in Germany before anybody else. But 40 years is too early, maybe he commercialised first. I don’t know. But thing is; no one in Europe doing this like it has to be done. Bu it’s an ok alternative to Mc Donalds, ı think.

Re: Is this the new album cover…? in General Therapy? Topics

I think it’s slightly better than the Tap’s “Smell the Glove” cover and way better than The Damned’s “Black Album” but not as good as “Back in Black” or Metallica’s 91 Record. Think is, it doesn’t look/feel like a LP cover; it’s seems to me an EP or single cover. I think before the mp3 age covers mark the session, time that music and all these pre internet promos that goes hand to hand, ear to ear reflects the idea with the power of image. I’ve never forget the “Infernal love” era, video clips to singles covers all goes with eternal harmony…But, you; know that was a time, ancient time.

Crooked Timber by Babel in General Therapy? Topics

When ı searched about Crooked Timber in Amazon UK ı found an album by a band called Babel. Thing is, Therapy? is always very selective about songs and album names; back then they changed the working title “ıce cream headache” (Now as we know Semi-Detached) for the reason that some other band was used it before them. It really doesn’t bother me but it seems slightly interesting for me.

Re: Morrissey - Years Of Refusal in Other Bands & Artists

I will buy this album just for my respect to Jerry Finn. This is his last job. İn therefore, Morrissey couldn’t find a better place to improve his sound and make something complex; to do what his best within the straight rock lake. I think his eternal seek for home (Rome, race issue with nostalgic view over politic perspective, Eurovision thing) and brand new era with his thought over sex (some lyrics of his last record has some clue with coventional sex, his experiment within feelings that seems new and suprising; could make this record different and somehow important.

Re: Therapy? 20th Anniversary! in General Therapy? Topics

Maybe a cover album with a personal view that resist popular choose; like Wildhearts did. I really can feel the improvement between “Breaking the Law” and “Denim Demon”. İn the other hand the band got great roots, interest in different kind of music. Death punk to post jazz. Clutch, Black Flag, Husker Du…Local bands? Trad Irish songs with punk metal attitude? Lot of ways.
