I didn’t mess with the volumes on anything except the Paradiso gig.

It seems to be a problem with the people that run the .tk redirect I’m using, I’d have bought a proper one but don’t have a credit card. Bit annoying as I can get http://www.themusicthatnobodylikes.co.uk or http://www.tmtnl.co.uk for £8 for 2 years.

The 3 bootlegs that I was sent are now up on the site, thanks again to Tom for them. The FLAC copy of the last one should be uploaded by 9 but it’s already there as mp3. I’ll probably be listening to them tomorrow night since I can’t really afford the gig at the ABC2, can’t remember the last time they played Glasgow and I wasn’t there. Maybe some nice person will bootleg it for me.

The one that I watch the most is the Paradiso gig. It’s a good show, and Andy’s wastedness adds a certain amount of fun to it. You’ll find yourself shouting “take a fuckin’ drink of water” at the screen, but he never does - or does he?

I’d have to say that the video quality for Athens is better but the audio is better for the Paradiso, and the Paradiso gig is much longer.

Just spent an hour learning how to edit video stuff in VirtualDub, seems quite a good wee program. Anyway, I’ve sorted out the audio problems, removed a bit of hiss and boosted the overall volume of the Fabchannel stream. I’ve also sharpened up the video, so it’s not as hazy as it was, and ever so slightly adjusted the colours. Anyone who got the original wmv file off me ages ago will probably want to download this newer version instead. The file is encoding to avi now, hopefully going to have this uploaded to the site either tonight or tomorrow morning. With any luck it’ll be under 500mb, though it is a 96 minute show.

They probably said no straight away because the Academy is 1/5 the number of people they played to last time they were here.

I’ve just added a Breeders bootleg to the site, and I’m doing some work on the Paradiso video. Never realised how low quality the Fabchannel streams were, currently showing as 56k.

Afraid I don’t have it, also missed the gig. I miss the old catty, and when it was the Rat Trap. I’ve also lost count of the number times Robert Fields has reminded me he was the first person in Scotland to book Pearl Jam, it’ll be his epitath most likely. :p

Afraid I don’t have the “tribute” concert, but I really am hoping that some of the WoM traders will put such things forward for everyone to enjoy.

Thanks. I know there are a lot of T? bootlegs about and a lot of people who would love to hear them, myself included.

I can see the point in traders, but I don’t think it’s something that everyone is able to do. So this seemed like a viable alternative.

I’m in the process of converting a whole load of boots from tape to FLAC for someone off the Carter board and it just seemed selfish to keep them to ourselves, the rest just sort of grew from there.

Hey everyone. Just wanted to let you know trhat I’ve started a website with free bootleg downloads on it.

The T? show from Sound City ‘94 is already up, that’s the Tramway Glasgow one from Radio 1. There is also some Carter USM, PWEI and Cure if anyone wants it.

Anyway, what I’m looking for is more bootlegs, mainly 90’s indie/alternative stuff, to add to the site so that even more people can get their hands on them.

If anyone wants to contribute anything then that would be great, the internet should mean that most non-commercial bootlegs are free IMO.
