Yeah I think all these projects he needs to try something new and completly different… Heavens was more different than this and theHell although I did enjoy that.
Yeah. He clearly wants to go all out synth pop rock, but he always seems to put some kind of pop punk stuff on there to keep Trio fans happy. At least, that’s the way I see it. Having listened to Babylon a few more times I have to admit it is growing on me though.

It’s ok… One song is a AT song with new lyrics from what I can tell. The rest just sound like Alkaline trio songs… But enjoyable enough.
It kinda sounds like a cross between early Cure, Crimson and Heavens. Slightly disappointed with it after one listen, but I’m hoping it will grow on me a bit. As you say, enjoyable enough.

Re: What’s EveryOne Listening To in Other Bands & Artists
I’m really enjoying the new Eve 6 album. In terms of tempo and structure, it feels quite similar to Horrorscope (which is my favourite Eve 6 album), but they’ve replaced a lot of the heavy guitars with synths, so it definitely has a lighter, poppier sound. I think it’s great though, very catchy.

There are far too many negative comments on here - this is a T? forum! Having said that, I’m still not totally into NANE (but it’s not bad).

Re: T-shirts more expensive than a CD?!?! in General Therapy? Topics
Yeah, that seems pretty normal to me. I’d be surprised to get a t-shirt for less than £15 at a gig.

Got a ticket for *Shels, Latitudes and Astrohenge at the Underworld at the start of July, some way away but what a lineup, and seeing as the *Shels were only playing a few gigs with the closest to me being Winchester this London gig is most welcome :-)
I love *Shels and like Astrohenge too. Quite like what I’ve heard of Latitudes as well, for that matter. Should be a great gig - too far for me to bother though.

Man, I haven’t listened to the Eels in what feels like a long time… since Tomorrow Morning came out, I guess. Might have to go through their stuff again soon.

So on a related note then, name the song which these lyrics are from: “All I know is that I don’t know nothing” :-) Easy, I know, I’ll try and think of something worthwhile later!

Bloody hell, I’m struggling to think of a good question. It’s one of those times where I realise I actually don’t know anything.

I was hoping someone else would put a couple of questions up, then I could gauge the kind of thing I should submit too. Damn :-(
