Yeah. He clearly wants to go all out synth pop rock, but he always seems to put some kind of pop punk stuff on there to keep Trio fans happy. At least, that’s the way I see it. Having listened to Babylon a few more times I have to admit it is growing on me though.

It kinda sounds like a cross between early Cure, Crimson and Heavens. Slightly disappointed with it after one listen, but I’m hoping it will grow on me a bit. As you say, enjoyable enough.

I’m really enjoying the new Eve 6 album. In terms of tempo and structure, it feels quite similar to Horrorscope (which is my favourite Eve 6 album), but they’ve replaced a lot of the heavy guitars with synths, so it definitely has a lighter, poppier sound. I think it’s great though, very catchy.

Yeah, that seems pretty normal to me. I’d be surprised to get a t-shirt for less than £15 at a gig.

I love *Shels and like Astrohenge too. Quite like what I’ve heard of Latitudes as well, for that matter. Should be a great gig - too far for me to bother though.

Man, I haven’t listened to the Eels in what feels like a long time… since Tomorrow Morning came out, I guess. Might have to go through their stuff again soon.

The one with Paradox supporting would be awesome to go to.
