Title: game on (merged)
This may have surfaced before now but know i ain’t seen it on any sight. Was watching Game on (first series-best!) when an episode which Nick(i think is the name, the recluse) orders pizza. Whilst he’s gettin ready on pops screamager, he finally scares the pizza girl off and says ‘Never explain, never apologise!’ Made me sit up, any one know if just a coincidence, know the explain and apologise are other way round but is bizarre!

Re: and nobody knows where Bob is in Other Bands & Artists
Bob is now living in Italy trying to revive Gabriel Batistutas dwindling career by playing as his clone and kicking some ass,or more likely he’s sat in a pub in Edinburgh.I interviewed Bob few months back and bought up the subject of Therapy? He seemed very interested but pretty much said that they should call it a day,Alan, the stand in bass for the mo agreed and said they haven’t been the same since Fyfe left and never will be.Bob said he loved touring at the time but it was debatable whether he had taken anythin. The official statement said he left for family reasons,This is prob true as he thought Andy Cairns would and should quit to spend time with his child and family.

Idlewild rock in Other Bands & Artists
Title: Idlewild rock
The Scottish rockers are back and keep gettin better. The single may be playin everywhere but it’s worth gettin for the b-sides, all this information is wicked.
Went to see them at Portsmouth pyramids last week on first leg of uk tour and they were on top form. Spoke to Bob (bassist) before the gig and it’s not official yet but Glastonbury is a high possibility. New tune American English is a classic and will be next single, very U2ish.
I sooooo wanna go the the essential festival in Bristol on 5th May to see Therapy back in the Uk but I got frickin exam on the 7th, bit sad really but gotta pass somethin.

Re: Best songs of the year in Chit-Chat
My mate lent me that album ‘Your new favourite band’ with songs from three of their albums, takes a few listens to get used to but I thought they were wicked. I thought they might be a bit too poppy but wasn’t at all. Completely different to stuff I usually listen too but every song was fab. Sound very much like a modern day Kinks, will defs be looking out for their stuff, well worth a listen. You got or know any info on stuff they’ve released? highly recommend them if no.

Re: T?’s Cover Versions in General Therapy? Topics
I love the ‘Gimme a man after midnight’ cover as I thought it would just be a piss take but it rocks. Breaking the Law too, anything with a wicked riff in it is fine by me. Must get the Japanese ‘Shameless’ as Denim demon and big time are being hyped up big time.

Re: rip offs in General Therapy? Topics
That’s the ticket! very similar sound but ‘self esteem’ by Offspring sounds even more similar to the classic ‘smells like teen spirit.’

New merchandise on the net in Chit-Chat
Title: New merchandise on the net
Just wondering if there was any new Therapy? merchandise on the net and where I could look it up. Looking for decent t-shirts and anything rare such as bootlegs which I’ve had no joy findin.Cheers!!

Re: rip offs in General Therapy? Topics
I see what ya mean. The little riff is identical but I’m positive it’s just a coincidence. One of the Offsprings new chunes sounds like screamager. It’s live on a b-side off ‘a million miles away’.

Re: Golden state in Other Bands & Artists
Too right! Saw Bush promoting science of things and to keep the
concert goin had to revert back to the first two albums. Just a lapse
though, tried something different which didn’t really catch on. I blame it on Gav’s old mate Sasha who’s synthesisers didn’t help. Good thing about Bush is they’re just far enough away from mainstream to be succesful and not a sell out at the same time. I’m not too worried that they’re not fully appreciated in England.

Re: tracklisting for a tape in General Therapy? Topics
You don’t need ta use a 90 min tape mate. Just use a 60 min one. You’ll get a good 15 songs on it. Think ya list is pretty much there but what about songs from shameless. Dance, I am the money(full version), and gimme Therapy? are wicked tunes. I lent my mate troublegum, he’s a punk boy, but as soon as the screamager riff kicked in he was hooked. All my mates love stories as well, even the ‘dance dicks.’

re-releases in General Therapy? Topics
Title: re-releases
Have Therapy? or their record company ever thought of re-releasing any of the singles. I was travelling home on a ten hour bus journey with my Therapy? compilation and although I had heard the song hundreds of times I couldn’t help but notice JUST how good lonely crying only was. Does anyone know the chart position this single got to and also stories as I have an MTV ‘fresh’ cd of all of the best music from 1996 as voted by the public and Therapy? stories is on it. Any singles chart positions will be cool. Also was screamager only bought out on short sharp shock as a single, and is it only the vinyl.
pps. Is there any more singles coming off Shameless. clean version of ‘Dance’ would be wicked.

Re: Concert tshirts in Chit-Chat
I remember going to see Skunk Anansie and Muse before thay got big about 2-3 years ago and I saw a bloke with a Therapy?- infernal love t-shirt on. That is the one and only time I have seen a Therapy t-shirt and so want one but all the ones on the web-site are shite. I know it’ll be a tacky t-shirt and I’ve seen some respectable shameless t-shirts in the new rock sound but ya have ta win them. Anyone know where I can buy one except at the gigs as have no time or transport and live miles away from any gigs.

Re: Who is the best British band ever? in Other Bands & Artists
For quality of songs with consistency I gotta say Queen. For actual musical talent and song-writing I would choose Led Zepplin. You are joking about The Smiths I hope!

Golden state in Other Bands & Artists
Title: Golden state
Got the new Bush album Golden state and it’s wicked. Shameless took a good couple of weeks to grow on me but this was great first time. Don’t care what people say but they sound nought like Nirvana, not grunge in the slightest and got loads of time for Gavin dissing the sad, past its sell by date ‘nu-metal.’ Look out for the new single ‘The people that we love,’ Not as soppy as it sounds. Some wicked riffs.

Re: Best Therapy? Riff Ever!!! in General Therapy? Topics
I love em all but for effectiveness i have gotta say either ‘breaking the law’ or ‘screamager.’ I also really like it half way through ‘loser cop’ and ‘stories’ progression riff is wicked.

Re: car crash in Chit-Chat
They say that you don’t start living life as you should till you have a near death experience. As in ‘Born in a car crash.’Well it works for me anyway. Haven’t had one yet but seem to be happily depressed with essays to write and the internet teasing me to stop doing work. Okay back to work. Oh yeah! Hope your alright.
