I took the liberty of adding the setlist (99% sure it is right) to setlist.fm when I got home on Friday.

Re: Therapy? @ HMV forum 19th november 2010 in Therapy? Live
I was going to head to the Assembly House as I usually grab food in there pre-gig, but it seems like most people are doing B&G so guess I will head there instead. does it do food ?
Katy if you spot me feel free to wander over and say hi. I’ll be on my own too (mate is sick) and I am absolutely not shy or retiring and I am fairly hard to miss. I’ll be in a black Love/Hate t-shirt with red logo front and “20 years of beer” on the back. Anyone else feel free to say hi too as I may be feeling lonely ;)
I also have a spare ticket obviously for the gig, so if any fans want it just let me know and I’ll happily offload it to you for £20.

Re: Special 2010 London Shows Confirmed in Therapy? Live
Excellent night. Everyone looked to enjoy themself. Kudos to Katy for surviving down front for all 3 nights as the crush looked pretty intense last night especially.
Definately think the setlist for the 3rd night was the best of the three. Wasn’t sure about Nowhere as an opener when I saw it on the list, but once they started playing it worked pretty damn well.
Unfortunately wasn’t able to stay around for the late bar as work is an evil mistress and I am knackered enough as it is this morning so it is probably just as well. Shoulders hurt just from the weight of my arms hanging at my sides today!!
Looking forward to the album release now, and a long weekend of sleep… and Final Fantasy XIII

Re: Special 2010 London Shows Confirmed in Therapy? Live
Almost forgot that I took some video of Stories.. turns out the gig was so loud (and I was so near the monitors) that the sound totally washed out my mic, so I have some nice clear video accompanied by silence… Will have to try standing a bit further back, although I doubt it will make a difference given the size of the venue!!!!

As a note, I did not have to produce my card on the door for tix. They just asked for the name the reservation was under.
Also as it is a pretty small venue, you may actually be able to call them and ask them to allow a Mr XYZ to collect your tickets instead as you can’t make it. It is after all in their best interests to have them used as more people = more money spent at the bar.

On a side note, did anyone grab food in the Lucas Arms , just opposite the venue, last night - and if so how was it for pub grub ?

Re: Special 2010 London Shows Confirmed in Therapy? Live
MisterHoppy, it really was pretty damn hot inside. Most people seemed to be sweating up a storm whether they were moshing or just standing around, and the band members were saturated.
Not sure it is really worth losing a beard for though. Just buy a bottle of water to keep you cool :)

Re: Special 2010 London Shows Confirmed in Therapy? Live
Chalk me up for earphones for tonight too. Last time I wore them at a gig was at a 3 day thrash/hardcore metal fest in France years ago, but I don’t think my already bruised and battered hearing will survive 3 continuous nights of Therapy? without them.
To be fair, having read the posts by Judge Dredd and Disgruntled, I would have to say that it sounds like the unfriendly fans in question were the one or two individuals (in this case girls/women) spoiling the night for others at the front. Talking to others during and after the gig, they seemed to have pretty much the same to say about a small group at the front that seemed determined to be what one might call a tad obnoxious and not at all in the spirit of the evening.
I was quite near the shenanigans, and did see some quite violent behaviour from one member of the group in particular towards people who brushed against her during some of the more intense moshing songs. A lot of quite wild flailing elbows to people. This did lead to at least one shouting match after someone got a really strong elbow in the ribs for doing nothing more than bouncing along behind them during a bit of a mosh. At any concert that sort of behaviour should be unacceptable to everyone and not tolerated. There is just no excuse for lashing out in a violent reaction like that, especially when you should expect to get jostled good and proper when down the front. That’s part of the fun after all and why we want to be part of it!
Oh and misogyny is defined as a hatred of women or girls, and I don’t really think that applies here. Their dislike of the people in this case don’t seem to be primarily based on the sex but on the actions of the people concerned.
Personally, I had an absolutely excellent night, everyone I met around me was friendly and I can’t wait for tonight, but I did get pretty annoyed at the girl getting on stage during the encore as from where I was all I could see was her wavy hands and not Andy anymore.
Kudos to everyone in particular for making sensible use of their cameras/cameraphones so that I didn’t have a sea of them blocking my view for the duration as usually happens at gigs.

Re: Special 2010 London Shows Confirmed in Therapy? Live
Mate got a photo of the setlist as we were right down the front, I’ll post it up when I get in to the office in an hour or so if no-one else has yet…
Was a truly excellent gig, and deafeningly loud. So loud it washed out the microphone on my camera so I got a lot of silent vids. Not sure I am going to be very capable of doing anything on Thursday after 3 nights like that!

Re: Special 2010 London Shows Confirmed in Therapy? Live
Me and my mate will be there for all 3 . We both live in London so its pretty easy for us. Where are people plannining on eating/drinking pre-gigs ?
Am also hoping can pick up tickets for all 3 nights tonight to allow for more bar time tomorrow and Wed.

Re: Special 2010 London Shows Confirmed in Therapy? Live
Well I have purchased 3 pairs of tickets , so will be there with my mate for each night. It is a pretty small venue so wouldn’t hold off too long to grab tickets.

Re: Full UK tour dates in Therapy? Live
I’ll be at the London gig on the 19th. I see there is a gig at the Garage on the 20th too supposedly. Does anyone know about tix for this as no site seems to have them yet.
On a side note, now that the O2 has been freed up a bit, don’t you think we should be petitioning the boys to swap venues and head over there for the London shows? :P
