Doctor, Doctor , I’ve been unwell for a couple of days with symptoms including fatigue, nausea and occasional vomiting.
- It sounds like this ‘flu that has being going around. I can prescribe antibiotics, but I recommend you let it run its course.
It’s probably best if i do that doctor. I don’t like to take antibiotics unless its very necessary.
- Thats a very good attitude to have. Good man yourself. Call me if you don’t improve in the next 2-3 days.

Last 4 weeks I’ve been over to Holland and Belgium twice and to South Africa via Germany.
Stayed in the Palace of the Lost City in Sun City in SA , most decadent place on earth for sure.

Off to Montpellier in France next week for 5 days.

Seeing Jason Isbell ( solo ) tonight in Whelan’s in Dublin.
Isbell is one of the frontmen of The Drive-By Truckers , who I really like.

After all the hype that was created around it and the overreacting of people who hadn’t even seen the thing , it could only be a letdown when it came out.
Poor movie by a politician I wouldn’t sympathise with. Every now and then he comes up with a point that I could somehow agree with , but then again even a broken clock is right twice a day.

Let’s just say I was more worried when I ran out of beer last night than when that movie came out.

A lot happening in Eastenders and Shameless these days , I’ve lost sleep over less !

Where to begin on this one…

Big fan of the long , bombastic intros. Led Zeppelin are the kings of great intros imo and at a first thought special kudos to Meat Loaf’s Bat Out of Hell and Pink Floyd’s Shine On You Crazy Diamond.
Today by Smashing Pumpkins is not too bad as is Sunshine of Your Love by Cream , it just rocks.

To pick one it has that spoken intro from the theme to The A Team !
