Re: T? album release date?? in General Therapy? Topics
@ opal mantra
Met Andy and the boys in the pub yesterday and he said he would send you a pm this morning with the name of their new label , exact release date of new album , album title , mp3s of all the tracks and their tour schedule for 2008.
Hope that helps.

Re: Message From Martin McCarrick in General Therapy? Topics
Anyone on here the proud owner of the grey T? fleece jacket , with a red gemil embroidered on the heart and the Marshall-style Therapy? in the neck ?
Got one myself but would love to have a second one. If anyone willing to part with his/hers or know where to get it…

I think you should relax and have a nice cup of tea. Sure you’ll feel better after it.

Re: Whats the craziest thing ouve done as a T? fan in General Therapy? Topics
Loads of mad and at times irresponsible things over the years.
The one that springs to mind first is going 50 hours without sleep to see them twice on consecutive nights in Belfast and Dublin and on returning home having a shower and going to work straight away which made it 60 hours before I hit my bed.
DeepSleep and Ronald were on the same trip and I think Ronald went even considerably longer as he went out for another all-nighter when he came home.

Re: Troublegum wins Guardian award for worst album covers in General Therapy? Topics
The Guardian just has no eye for real art.
There`s a difference between genuine art-forms like the Troublegum sleeve causing uncontrolled vitriol to burst forth from your main cranial orifice, and pre-meditated filth just for the sake of it.

Re: Its Offical t? are ‘Old Skool’ in General Therapy? Topics
Add Stiff Little Fingers for me.
Maybe throw in a nice mix of Ramones , Sonic Youth and Atari Teenage Riot too.

Re: Its Offical t? are ‘Old Skool’ in General Therapy? Topics
It’s more of the same basically. Every once and again record companies put out the same tracks in a different order and with a different name and cover to drag a couple of euros out of the same lot stupid enough to go for it again and again. Some pretty shit bands and tracks on there , the last 4 only making slightly up for it.
Just out of curiosity , what bands would ideally accompany T? on your perfect compilation CD ?

Re: Where have you seen T? live? in General Therapy? Topics
Tough one !
Problem is with venues like Paradiso in Amsterdam where they played a number of times, I’ve seen them there a lot but think I’ve missed some of them too. As my memory is getting worse with age I have no clue about dates or years longer than 2 or 3 years ago.
At a first count from that link I picked out 42 gigs that I’m pretty sure I was at but could be wrong on 1 or 2. Can’t be arsed to copy and paste them all here.
75% the same as DeepSleep’s list probably !
Also noticed I’ve never seen perform them England , so I’m hoping they will announce some gigs there soon to set that record straight in the journey to make it to 50 T? gigs in total.

Re: Should t? stay trio? in General Therapy? Topics
They should leave Andy wielding his axe and get a new vocalist in , preferably James Blunt.
Or Robbie Williams , I’d be the first one stage to break his boll*x !

Not being mentioned in the same article as Brian Kennedy is a good thing though.

Re: Mikehell on TV in General Therapy? Topics
Great programme and Mikehell being his usual nice self.
Was watching it in the company of 2 girls and Mike will be glad to hear he has beautiful eyes , a great accent and what a ride he is :D
Thought the second band ( The Q ) were pretty good but can live with Nice n Sleezy winning it. Best show of them all.
Great intro film as well how culchies shout abuse at them from cars when they walk around Enniskillen dressed like that.

KJC , you should go to Stockholm instead next time. Up there with my all time favo cities.
Sodermalm and Gamla Stan areas are fabulous for partying. Just wish I’m not tied up next time next time I’m over as the women over there are unbelievable.

Re: Is Bruce Dickinson friends with Therapy? in General Therapy? Topics
As far as I know Bruce and Andy get along pretty well but I don’t know how far their friendship goes.
I stand to be corrected on this but didn’t Bruce have some sort of radio programme where he invited Andy as a guest occasionally ?

Some great stuff in that collection indeed , dmw.
Funny seeing the cap you have in there , as I have a black one with Therapy embroidered in white on it. Funny thing is it’s missing the questionmark.

T? fleece jacket in General Therapy? Topics
Title: T? fleece jacket
Just a quick question to see if anyone here is also the proud owner of a Therapy? official fleece jacket ( grey with an embroidered gemmil on the heart and the Marshall-style band name in the back of the neck ).
Got mine at the merch stand in Gent in 1995 and still wearing it.
Curious as I’ve never seen a second one and some of the more experienced T? followers and collecters seem to be surprised to come across it when I wear it.
Cheers.

Haven’t seen anything in the Irish charts.
But then again , they’re occupied by real rock bands such as Busted and McFly !

The point is, ladies and gentleman, is that Therapy? is good. Therapy? is right. Therapy? works. Therapy? clarifies, cuts through and captures the essence of the evolutionary spirit.

If I was in any serious band , that fcukwit Williams would be the last one I would have embarassing me by mentioning the good name of my band.
Before you know it , his ‘fans’ turn up at T? gigs and we have a bunch of 15 year old histerical girls throwing their knickers at Andy.
