Saw them in Ardgillan Castle in Dublin last Sun night.
Got a freebie ticket from The Devlins , who played support.

Not a big fan , but think they did pretty good.
‘Its the end of the world as we know it…’ goes down very well after a day of drinking beer in the sun !

Sunways ( especially great when live ) and Springbok Nude Girls ( who played Pukkelpop once ).

Actually gonna see U2 on Saturday night , does that mean I’ll be banned from the WoM ? ;)

Hoocha , although I do hate RW with a vengeance , I used to live next door to one of his songwriters ( the one that wrote Angels ) and he is an absolute sound bloke that used to drink in my place occasionally and thus got to listen to a considerable amount of Therapy? So there you go !

Title: 10 Years Ago…

Tomorrow , June 14 , it’s exactly 10 years ago that Rory Gallagher died.

Still think he’s one of the best ever and a musical genius.
There’s a band called Sinnerboy doing a tribute gig in Whelans in Dublin , think I’ll pop in to have a beer in memory of the big man.

These days listening to Rodrigo y Gabriela as I’m gonna see them tomorrow.

Mexican couple playing acoustic guitar , even covering Metallica’s ‘One’.
Can recommend them.
