Gutted I missed the gig.

My flight into Holland the night before was diverted due to fog and it took me 30 hours to finally get home. By then it was too late to take a train to Cologne.

Would love to go there , I like NMA and have friends in Koln so it would normally be a no-brainer.
But I’m flying to Holland the day before that to spend a couple of days over Christmas with my family and god-children and I’m afraid it wouldn’t go down that well with them if I f*ck off to Germany for half of the time that I’m there.
Then again it is T? and NMA we’re talking about , they might understand…

Heard from a pretty reliable source that there’s work being done on a new album at the moment.
Fine and all as that is be me , it would be nice to give fans some notice if there is any more touring planned for this year.
I’m desperately holding on to a number of days off for possible gigs later this year , while at the same time my mum wants to know how long i will be coming home for X-Mas this year…

Incidentally gimme , it’s not just the show that makes it one of my favos.
Show was okay , but it was more the events of the 3 day round trip there that made it memorable.

Maybe they’re just waiting for better weather ;)

If push would have come to shove I would’ve had no problem in chipping in a couple of hundred shekels for the good cause if that would have been necessary.

Just sold my ticket for The Who in Marlay Park.

Hard choice but it was either that or missing the chance to see my football team beat our big rivals.

Hard to pick one out of the don’t know how much.
First ones that spring to mind as ‘special’ are gigs in Vooruit in Gent and Doornroosje Nijmegen but I have no idea what year they were.
Narberth in Wales last year was one of the best ones too and Belfast is always a treat.

What is this thing with people posting where they ‘need’ Therapy? It pisses me off big time , like certain people have a given right to demand where a band plays.
Bit of travelling for a gig never hurt anybody , au contraire.

But to not spoil the fun for all you , let me join by saying I demand Therapy? to play the sports hall of Coolmine Leisure Centre in Blanchardstown , Dublin15.
Why? Coz it’s right in front of my fucking door.

And if they don’t I’ll never listen to any of their songs again and throw myself in the Liffey.

From the centre take bus 16. That’s the one from Santry/Airport that stops on O’Connell St as well. This one stops at the park directly.

Lines 14 , 14A and 48A ( all from Parnell Square ) will leave you at 10 minutes walking distance.

Marlay Park is out the south edge directly next to the M50 ( exits Rathfarnham or Dundrum will both get you close by if you come in by car ).

Title: Therapy? playing La Reunion

Just read the lads are playing La Reunion in April.

Very bad timing in my opinion. Very bad timing.

Leaving for Mauritius and La Reunion on Wednesday but will be back by the time the band arrives. Bad karma and all that.

As it’s cyclone season there now , I’m hoping for the mother of all hurricanes to hit the place when I’m about to return ;)

From the Gigography in 1995 , the venue for the second gig was deffo Vooruit in Gent.

- Tuesday, October 10th Brielpoort, Deinze, Belgium (cancelled, ticket holders given free entry to Nov 20th gig in Ghent)

Have to agree with the Pet Goat.

I demand a gig every remaining day this year and at least 2 more albums coming out before Christmas.

Motorhead rocked , Lemmy still rules and their rendition of Killed By Death was my absolute highlight of the night ( even more so than Ace of Spades and Overkill )

Spend a while in the closed bar in Olympia afterwards while the first aiders were having a look at Pip.
Hope the ankle is better , man. Fair play to you though , true soldiers come out of a war wounded ;)

Ended up next door in Brogans Pub with some mates , last ones to leave too and then had the great idea of an afterparty in Casa Cuch. Beer , whiskey and wine make a dangerous combination…

Thank God I’m off to Aruba tomorrow for a welldeserved rest !
