During the weekends there’s works done on the railroad just north of Dublin. Which means bus from Dublin to Drogheda and back.
If you’re training up on Friday though, you should have no probs going straight from Dublin Connolly to Belfast.
Souldoubt , if I don’t see you around in Belfast and you’re back in Dublin on Sun night , gimme a buzz and we’ll go for a pint !

Still no luck here , but have good faith that some of those The Thrills fans will leave after seeing them and before T? takes the stage.
With a bit of a one-in-one-out policy it should be possible.
Although this is the BBC and you never know.
That CeeBeeBies t-shirt and Blue Peter badge hanging in my closet could come in handy after all…

If you’re thinking of staying overnight in Dublin and training up to Belfast on Saturday , you’re more then welcome to stay in Casa Cuchulain to avoid the ridiculous prices of hotels over here.
In true rock & roll spirit , just bring me a couple of cans of Jupiler please ;)

Anyone with a ticket left for T?’s open air gig with Undertones on Custom House Square in Belfast on May 28th ?
Was away on a 6-day trip and just had a chance to get near a PC again now. Called right away for tickets but was told they were not available anymore…
Any well-doer friendly enough to provide me with a ticket will be bombarded with copious amounts of alcoholic substances on the night.

Seeing T? is priceless !!
Two weeks ago I flew over from Dublin to Rotterdam for a 5-day trip to see the guys in Brugge , America and Utrecht.
Now I am NOT the money ;) or the richest man on the planet but I’ve spend a small fortune on flights , train fares , tickets and food and beer ( and believe me , I’m one hell of a heavy drinker especially with DeepSleep around ! )
But still I think it’s the best thing I’ve done in ages.
It’s not about the money , it’s all about the experience of having your favourite band play your favourite song and going bananas on it.
Would do it all again tomorrow as I enjoyed every fucking minute of it !

When he came very close to knocking over all of Michael’s guitars I really thought the Big Man was gonna throw him some slaps there.

Just back in Dublin from late last night after a mad 5-day T? trip around Belgium and Holland…
Fanfuckintastic : rock n roll , too much beer and a complete lack of sleep.
Think Utrecht was one of the better ones I’ve seen the band play as well.
Also nice to meet some old and new people again , and to have a chat with Teethgrinder after the gig.
Looking forward to having a couple of days of detox now and to actually use a bed again as a place to sleep in !

Ryanair does cheap flights from Brussels Charleroi to Vasteras and Skavsta.
