The old “making fun of somebody dying” guilt, it’s almost there!
Levon Helm, drumming man from The Band, died. Did anybody have him?

Outside of this thread I’d even feel a little bit bad.

Re: What’s EveryOne Listening To in Other Bands & Artists
Lately, it’s mostly been…
Something Else!!!! and The Shape of Jazz to Come by Ornette Coleman, got both for five quid. Good stuff!
Live Songs by Leonard Cohen, fuckin’ amazing. I’m slowly working my way through his complete album collection, doing about one a week in preparation for September.
Music To Watch Girls By, nice compilation of 60s pop stuff.
My eyepod threw up a bizarre mixture of Shameless and A Brief Crack of Light earlier. Strangely, they kind of go together.
The odd bit of Simon & Garfunkel and The Kinks too.

Only two more votes and we’ll win!
Then, of course, the epic struggle for Marlow.

Re: Jagermeister Gig, Bristol, April 2012 - My Thoughts in Therapy? Live
While I’m sure it’s different if you’ve seen them 60 times, I’m only on my fourth and I love the Troublegum stuff.
Unbeliever was a real treat and nobody can deny that Screamager is popular for a reason and that reason is that it’s awesome.
Still great that they opened with Teethgrinder. I was trying to figure out how they’d pull it off and I still kind of am, but the fact remains that it was amazing.

Re: UK Tour April 2012-CONFIRMED in Therapy? Live
My girlfriend ripped a poster off the wall in Newcastle which I then stuffed under my jacket before swiftly departing.
Didn’t get that signed, but pretty much everything else was.

Next person gets to pick the new song as long as they add five points to The Buzzing!

Going to Leonard Cohen in September. Three-hour show is promised, I am excited.

Re: T-shirts more expensive than a CD?!?! in General Therapy? Topics
That’s normally how it goes at anything I’ve been to.
It’s probably partly because the shirts are more limited, as they’re intended to commemorate some event - a tour, album or anniversary. Stuff like that.
On the other hand, the CDs are pretty much always going to be available. Also, they kind of want more people to own those anyway.
Got to say though, I’ve never been disappointed by the quality of a Therapy? shirt and I own three.

Re: UK Tour April 2012-CONFIRMED in Therapy? Live
You won’t be disappointed!
The new songs were absolutely fuckin’ amazing live and everything else was great as always. That was probably the best Exiles I’ve ever heard too.
Can’t say I’m disappointed about the loss of Stories or Rust in exchange for some of the better Troublegum songs. Great to hear Unbeliever as I’d not heard it before and Isolation is always nice.
It flew by too quickly, but it was a wonderful way to spend 45 minutes.
Lovely to meet the guys afterwards as well. They’re always so nice.

Re: UK Tour April 2012-CONFIRMED in Therapy? Live
Not helped by it being primarily a Skindred show.
The vast majority of their fans last night were unfortunately absolute cunts.

Re: UK Tour April 2012-CONFIRMED in Therapy? Live
This is one of the reasons I stayed up behind the soundboard tonight, looked like some real shitheads down there and I couldn’t be arsed.
Also, my girlfriend is really short.
Few pictures here
Andy said something about hopefully getting out around September kind of time for a ten week tour or thereabouts. Excitement.

Re: UK Tour April 2012-CONFIRMED in Therapy? Live
Rightfully so, because it was fuckin’ amazing. Great sound, the ABCOL songs are really powerful live.
Lingered for a bit around the back and we met the band. Got some pictures, signed setlist, tickets, drumstick and a good chat.
Let it be known that it is worth your while to miss Skindred.

Sounds like a really nice setlist, good to see a shitload of ABCOL (all considered) in there too.
