Re: Special 2010 London Shows Confirmed in Therapy? Live
Just seen the Sonisphere info. Troublegum in its entirety. Oh… my… god…
I’d given up on Festivals but may have to revise that policy now!!

Re: Special 2010 London Shows Confirmed in Therapy? Live
Blimey I remember the night I saw the Clash and about 40 kids were up on the stage with the band and I thought “how cool is that”… how times change eh.
I saw T? at Hackney Ocean a few years back and I got up on stage at that gig and far from being slung off, Andy put his arm round me as I tried to take a pic of the two of us!!! Obviously I exited fairly soon after that but needless to say I don’t remember getting any grief about it after. Most people around me in the crowd were more interested in wanting a copy of the picture than anything else!!
Happy days…

Not got any problem whatsoever with her dancing down front - she is completely entitled to do that to her little heart’s content. If you bothered to read my post you would have seen that what I was bothered by was her GETTING ON THE STAGE and dancing. Had she stayed on the floor where she was supposed to then I would have been more than happy that she was enjoying herself , and she wouldn’t have been annoying anyone. (I didn’t see her taking part in any of the silly elbowing/shoving going on as she was delirious to everything around her as she danced away - so good on her for not stooping down to the level of the other girls around her).
I did ‘bother’ to read your post, why do you think I replied to it? Are you sure she was actually standing on the stage, it didn’t look like that to me, although I could be mistaken. It looked more like she was either sat or knelt on it, whatever, I’m possibly splitting hairs. The fact remains it wasn’t a major issue for me but we’re all different I guess, but I think its a bit harsh to make rather shitty criticisms about someone who is only having a good time in the same way you were. In some ways you’re being no different than the very people you were criticising for getting the arse with those of us who were jumping around etc. I think you have to chill out a little and allow people to enjoy themselves in their own way, fair enough if someone repeatedly got on the stage all night long I’d agree with you but I think you’re being a little harsh mate.
Anyway, hopefully we can agree to leave it there and not deflect from a brilliant night and if you’re going tonight/tomorrow, have fun.

Disgruntled, one minute your moaning because people don’t like the rough stuff down the front, the next minute your moaning because a girl wants to dance, in her own personal way, at the front of the stage. Make your mind up mate, are we allowed to enjoy ourselves or not? Or do we all have to enjoy ourselves in the same way you do. FFS we all have our own ways of expressing our pleasure at gigs and I hardly think a girl sat at the front of the stage dancing during one of the songs ruined the night, at least she was enjoying herself, give her a break eh.
As for the gig, fantastic night, been seeing this lot since around 1993 and never come away from a gig disappointed and still haven’t after last night. They really looked like they were enjoying themselves too which is great after all these years. Long may it continue.
For you lucky lot going Tonight and tomorrow, have a great time.

Re: FAN FECKIN TASTIC 29-03-2010 in Therapy? Live
Agree, fantastic night last night, my ears are buzzing like wasps nests today!
Katy, noticed your tat too, v.cool, I have a Gemil on my arm but he didn’t make an appearance last night!! I’m from Kent too, if I’d known there were fellow T? heads down here I could have arranged a lift up for you all!!
Anyhow, those of you going tonight and/or tomorrow, v.jealous and hope you all have a good ‘un, be interesting to see the setlist over the next 2 gigs.
