I’d have to say youthanasia, assisted or not would be legal. The diane pretty case made me sick, imo it is the individuals choice to live or not.I was honestly disgusted that the poor woman had to go to court to ask to be put out of her misery. At least she is at peace now.

Re: What kind of work do you do, or study? in Chit-Chat
I went to the metal/indie night, it was wicked! i like the way it has different areas with differnt music. I dont remember much about it, due to the fine selection of booze.

Re: What is R&B. Serious Question in Chit-Chat
I think In the early days it was called rhythm and blues because thats the sound the stones and the who were playing. But now its just a convient pidgeon hole for the record labels and shops to sell cds with. And i think its horrible btw

Title: best/worst song from the 80’s
ok, i’m in the mood for reminiscing about all those cheesy synth songs that remind me of being young. the best i can think of is the final countdown. eurgh! so cheesy, but there must be worse… rick astley anyone?

Re: worst job you’be ever done in Chit-Chat
good luck with your engineering deek, apart from being in a band, i reckon its a pretty rewarding way to make a living. The guit tutor at my college spent some time with T? in a studio once. not playing, he just happened to be working in studio next door. which was nice.

are you a music student deek? im on a music course at the mo, finish in summer. i used to do all that kind of stuff (writing, recording mixing, sequencing etc,) but i kind of lost heart now. funny how when you are forced to do the things you love it takes all the fun out of it.

at least you got to see some bands. I used to work in a supermarket, (there was nothing super about it) filling up the freezers. i used to come home with completely numb hands. and my boss was a fat arrogant prick. (are’nt they all?)

Re: one for the guys: Beer in Chit-Chat
the original budweiser has been brewed in the czech rep. for centuries, in the town budejovice. making fine full beer. in 1878 an american registered the bud label for his corn based, watery brew. naturally, he took no notice of the czechs demands to return the name. eventualy the americans made an arrogant attempt to buy the brewery, but the czechs refused to sell out. then the americans threatened a court case, which the czechs had no hope of winning, owing to u.s buds deep pockets. the dispute looks set to continue. meantime, the good tasting czech bud goes by the name of budweiser budvar. just a short beer history lesson for you boozehounds ; )
