And Colin, I still get nervous going past bouncers (and I’m 23!) but I reckon you should go for it! Try and head in with a crowd of older (legal) punters if you can.

For things like this, where you need a ticket to get in, it’s probably more likely that you’ll get in. As long as you look even remotely 18ish you should be OK.

Having said that though, I only started getting into bars when I was 16, and I got knocked back half the time. In fact I didn’t even look 18 when I turned 18 :o

Em, uh… as for stage times, if you showed up at 8 you wouldn’t miss Therapy?. It finishes at 12 (and Therapy? are headlining) so it’ll probably be even later than that.

I was talkin to a mate who works for AU last night and he says this is part of a 12 hour music marathon for Alternative Ulster’s 3rd birthday party. Tickets are gonna be a tenner (i think). Should be a top day.
