I suppose you have a point… but I really am glad to seeing them somewhere other than the Mandella.

Two recent S&A gigs I’ve been to were very different actually:

Whipping Boy (Good sound, good crowd, great gig).
Mogwai (nowhere near as good as they were in the Mandella, crowd talked through most songs).

I don’t really plan on gettin’ up to mosh anymore (tho ye never know!) so it’s probably good that S&A has more chairs and tables with good vantage points!

I’m working seven days in a row starting today - Friday 28th is when I get paid and then I’m off for 4 days.

A Therapy? acoustic set then DJ set later on sounds like a very nice (and messy) day indeed :)

I think they’ll be playing / have played it on Across The Line radio show this week though. There’s no way they could’ve broadcast it live, too many swear words. Although some of the comments from the presenters (especially that daft bint from Lisburn) were kinda patronising to the mighty T? :mad:

The banter with the crowd was good alright.

It was a lot better than Friday’s. Loads of people down at the front didn’t know what they’d gotten themselves into when “Turn” kicked in!

They played ten year plan this time as well and used a lot of Ministry style samples, I kept expecting them to launch into Hellbelly. Was a good laugh.

I don’t remember them playing Trigger Inside. They played a bit of She’s Lost Control as well.

Hi Alan - the Dublin/Belfast train (the enterprise) is dead on, I *think* its about £25 return.

If you’re able to get it right through to Gt Victoria St station, the BBC building where the gig is happening is literally across the road when you step outside.

I got tickets for Friday too! Think they’re from the BBC though and not Therapy?… ah well, sweet!

The band were the Foo Fighters. Dunno about the new feature though… arrgghh!

I was at the celeb DJ night in Laverys last night - was supposed to be Peter Hook from Joy Division / New Order but he got stuck in Bristol airport so he never made it. Still managed to nick one of the promotional T? posters though :D (Dont worry guys, there were shitloads!)

Just hope the same thing doesnt happen on the 29th :eek:

lol, I served Michael in my shop (Queen’s Students Union) when they were playin in the Mandella.

He purchased a 28p packet of green Wrigley’s extra with a twenty pound note. Rock n’ Roll! :cool:
