Title: I need advice

OK, once upon a time I had Napster / Audiogalaxy and stuff to download songs, but my computer was too shit for all the more recent sites, after those ones went tits up. Being a poor student I cant really afford to go out and buy new CDs, and my taste in music has declined as a result.

However, there is a glimmer of hope on the horizon… i might be able to get access to a pretty good computer soon, but I need advice on what sites are the best to download from. Please dont ask any technical questions, im pretty ignorant when it comes to computers - this is the only site i go to on the web really.

Any suggestions would be greatly appreciated - thanx! :)

I saw the movie Go! for the first time the other day, and was really surprised at how good it was - sort of like a contemporary Dazed & Confused.

I’ve been listening to the new Death in Vegas album Scorpio Rising loads, looking forward to seeing them next week. The guest vocalists are a lot more famous and less “cool” than on the Contino Sessions (Liam Gallagher & Paul Weller compared to Bobby Gillespie & Iggy Pop) and its more upbeat - but thats not a bad thing, right?

Celtic! Anyone in the UK should watch the Auld Firm on Sunday at 2:00, its the first time its being shown nationwide in years and its one of the biggest derby matches in the world!

fave film: Natural Born Killers cos its one of those movies you can watch again and again and still notice something new, with a great cast, director, writer, and what a soundtrack!

fave book: still Trainspotting, I’ve never enjoyed reading a book so much, swinging between laughing out loud and feeling disgusted and sad.

OK i couldnt be bothered starting another topic for a film… i know this has been out for a couple of years now but you HAVE to see Requiem for a Dream. Actually, im more concerned with recommending the soundtrack, by Clint Mansell (mainly), i think he worked with NIN. Anyone in the UK can hear the main overture on the trailers for that new TV show ‘murder’ on BBC2 :)

haha - Barbie, i used to think that too. when i started drinking in my mid-teens i thought hangovers were a myth to scare young children - i’m paying for it now though :( Im sure i’ll have an even worse one on Sunday from violent drinking on Saturday - Ireland v Cameroon at 7:30 AM (the pubs are open!) AND its my 20th birthday!
