I like Marilyn Manson, the soundtrack is class: M Manson, At The Drive In, Death In Vegas, Queens Of the Stone Age and stuff. But the movie was shit.

Yeah ive posted this a lot of times here… i saw them live ago in the Duke of Yorke in Belfast, about a year ago now. There was about 30 people in this tiny room. They were cool but not much like T?

OK its unfortunate that many kids take him too seriously and he does rip off a lot of other acts (Bowie, A Cooper, NIN), and they may not be especially musically gifted but hes still one of the most ‘alternaive’ artists of the 90s

The band took the piss basically because on Top of the Pops artists are expected to mime along to their songs without actually playing them but Krist Novoselic went crazy banging his bass around, Dave Grohl waved his drum sticks in the air acting like a cheesy Iron Maiden / Degrassi drummer and Kurt practically swallowed the microphone while singing in a deep Ian Curtis depressing voice. Its a pretty famous peice of music footage in the UK

I saw them at Reading last week and they had far too big a fan base for the small tent they were stuck in. Shouldve been the main stage! They opened with ‘feel good hit…’ too. By the way does anyone here like Eliot Smith? He looked the spit of Andy Cairns and was a lot heavier than i expected

Yeah in the UK it costs about 16 pounds for a new CD which I guess is about 25 US Dollars. Last year the only new CDs I got were GYBE!, Mogwai and RATM, I didnt even buy SPYF.
