I saw the movie Go! for the first time the other day, and was really surprised at how good it was - sort of like a contemporary Dazed & Confused.

I’ve been listening to the new Death in Vegas album Scorpio Rising loads, looking forward to seeing them next week. The guest vocalists are a lot more famous and less “cool” than on the Contino Sessions (Liam Gallagher & Paul Weller compared to Bobby Gillespie & Iggy Pop) and its more upbeat - but thats not a bad thing, right?

I think the NME are the ones who are guilty of spreading this term EMO, as they had a special EMO issue a few months ago featuring bands like rival schools, jimmy eat world, and hundred reasons. I think these bands are pretty lame whether they’re part of a movement or not, invented by the media or otherwise.

fave film: Natural Born Killers cos its one of those movies you can watch again and again and still notice something new, with a great cast, director, writer, and what a soundtrack!

fave book: still Trainspotting, I’ve never enjoyed reading a book so much, swinging between laughing out loud and feeling disgusted and sad.
