i heard the director of the sigur ros video is very famous, maybe it’s an explanation.

what about the cure and the misfits?

i think they did 2 good albums (the first 2); i like the 1st one more.

i’ve got the mike patton album with john zorn and it’s really weird.

i found a shop that have tons of copies of them for just 8 euros each.

i love them.
i love the first album, heroin is my favourite track too, and i love nico’s voice (is it true that she died falling from her bicycle?).
white light/white heat is wonderful (i like it more than the first album i have to say).

the second one is pretty good too

i love the cure. one of the best bands of all time.
my favourite albums are:
17 seconds, faith, pornography, disintegration; i can’t put them in order, they’re all too good.

2 reasons to love disintegration: prayers for rain & disintegration.

what about the trilogy dvd? did anyone see it?

i downloaded their singles when someone from this board first talked about them. brilliant. i also saw the video for a song of the new album and it’s brilliant too.
so i’m going to buy the album, as soon as i have some money (and after the new mogwai album, of course)

i think the best album by sonic youth is ‘daydream nation’, followed by ‘washing machine’ and ‘experimental jet set…’

joy division are one of my favourite bands.
new order are really on another planet. they released a dozen of great singles through the years and i enjoy listening to them, but that’s all.

cat power
the singer of lali puna

(though jon spencer’s wife is really hot)

according to their mailing list, mogwai will play at the john peel show in may.
i remember there were some mogwai fans in this board, so i was asking myself if you’ll record the show (and if you’ll share it with me :) ).

i think also both bbc versions are better than the unknown pleasure one.

if it’s the same version that is on SUBSTANCE i agree with you, it’s a lot better than the U.P. version.

as for the live albums, i think i’ll buy them sooner or later, i only hope they sound better than the live tracks on STILL.

i love both their albums for different reasons.
the side b of closer is incredible.
