Re: Selling some rare T? cd’s in Therapy? Buy, Sell & Trade

5 pounds for shipping within Belgium??????

Shipping within Belgium is 4£, not 5. This includes all extra costs like paypal fees etc and extremely well packaged cd’s. So 4£ is not that expensive and of course I will combine shipping if one buyer wins more then one auction.

Title: Selling some rare T? cd’s

Hello all,

I decided to sell a part of my Therapy? collection. This doesn’t mean I don’t like T? anymore I still like them and LOVE going to their live shows. But these cd’s are laying around in my closet for years, so I thought that it’s better to let them go. Anyway here goes :

Re: Metallica / linkin park RDS in Other Bands & Artists

What Robby said…if you don’t like the bands, don’t go! ;) It’s really stupid that you spend like 50 euros for bands you don’t like.

I on the ohter hand am really looking forward for this gig! This will be the first time I’ll be in Ireland or Dublin! To see Metallica!!!!!!!!!

Re: Metallica - Werchter in Other Bands & Artists

Werchter was great indeed!!!!!!!! One of the best shows I’ve seen, but nothing beats their Berlin show at the Wuhlheide. I was in the front row and was able to catch the setlist from the stage!! A guy from the security gave it to me after the show. The crowd was LOUD!!!!!!

The intro of sad but true was awesome: you’re gonna sing this song before you even hear it :D

I like the title track, which is the one thing I hear by accident. I’m pretty impressed. I’m catching up again :D

And believe me, that ain’t the best song on the album! Listen a few times to frantic, shoot me again or unnamed feeling and you’ll be catching up even sooner ;)

Re: Metallica in Other Bands & Artists

I saw them three times this weekend and I must say I was impressed!!! My expectations were high, but it even was beter. James’s voice was awesome…and no songs from load and reload!!! Their best setlists in MANY years and above all: they changed it for every gig!!!!!!!!! Rock am ring was the least of the three shows because the sound really sucked, it was like I was listening to a crappy audience bootleg…But Rock im park and Berlin were awesome!!!!! Especially Berlin, which was a real Metallica show and no festival. I even was lucky enough to meet the band in Rock im park!!! Pics of that meeting are up at the metontour site.

Now I’m heading for part two of the adventure: Paris (2 times), Italy and Fields of rock.

I’m tired…must…sleep…zzzzzzzzzzzz

Re: Metallica in Other Bands & Artists

WOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOWWWWWWWWWWWWW!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! St. Anger has crushed me…my expectations were VERY high, but this…man…this is even better!!!!!!!!!!!!!! This album totally erases load and reload…THIS is the real follow up from the Black Album!!

Finally going to see Metallica again on Sunday… fucking hell, this can only become a brilliant day… waited 4 years for that, and in the coming 3 weeks I’m going to see them 3 times…

I guess I don’t really have to say that I’M VERY EXCITED :D ???

Here’s another VERY excited fan!!!! Friday is the day, from then on I’m going to see Metallica live 7 times in 9 days!!!! And this evening, midnight to be exact, I will have St. Anger in my hands. I’m going wild now!!!!! :D

I already heard St. anger, Frantic, Shoot me again, my world , whithin my hands and unnamed feeling. Shoot me again and unnamed feeling are my favs!!

Re: New album in General Therapy? Topics

I never really got into shameless, but that still can happen. The same happened to me with Suicide Pact. I didn’t like it when I bought it. Also not after hearing it a few times. A WHOLE year later I listenend to it again and it became one of my favourite cd’s. And it still is!!! This cd is brillant and it took a year for me to realise that..so maybe there is a future for shameless for me :D

Damn I missed out that one :( But I didn’t missed out the one in peer. It was organised by Creeping Belgium, an official local chapter from the metclub. I don’t think they still exist right now. Now I’m a member of the Belgian Devildancers, a great local tour chapter with only one intention: to see Metallica live as many times as possible!

New album in General Therapy? Topics

Title: New album

I just bought the new T? record. I couldn’t find time to go to a record store any sooner, so shoot me :D And guess what, I was surprised in a VERY positive way!!!!!!! This album kicks ass big time!!! After picking up Shameless, my interest in T? slowely faded. It wasn’t a bad album nor a good one, just an album. But this one really is killer! Thanks T?, for putting out such a great record. You gave me back the T? I always cherised. You still got it!!!! I’m really looking forward to see you live again at the Strandfuif in Belgium. ROck on!!!!!!

Indeed, this crazy Germany weekend’s getting closer and closer!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

ALso check this sample out, it’s a studio clip from frantic:

My tourbuddy was invited to the listening party from Universal yesterday and he confirmed the rumours/reviews:

ST. Anger is brutal, hard and heavy. It’s their heaviest album so far!!!!!!!!!!!!

Re: Metallica in Other Bands & Artists

Indeed, let’s wait and see. I don’t care what any of the journalists say. I certainly will buy the album, but I only can judge it when I’ve heard it. But I can assure you that I have faith in the guys. I’m sure this album will rock big time! Just as all of their albums!

For who’s interested, the full Kerrang interview:

http://www.theuktorn.com/kerrang/page1.htm

A very cool quote from it:

“The volume is intoxicating, the songs even more so…Metallica havent gone backwards they have gone elsewhere, somewhere they havnet really gone before. Much of the speed is back -speed that recalls the days of Battery and Dyers Eve.-but the format is markedly different. This isnt controlled agression, much of it is uncontrolled violence. Its ironic that at a time when the band are so at peace with one another they should make an album that sounds like theyre at war. As one track follows the another- there are only working titles like ‘Monster’ and ‘Frantic’- the difference not only between what you expect but what has gone becomes clear. Theres no space between the drums and the guitars, there are riffs everywhere, there is anger and confusion -‘Do not know the answer, I dont know what the question is’ is one lyric- there is swearing and shouting and time changes and speed and fury…
It is difficult on a first listen not to surmise that St Anger is the finest thing Metallica have put their name to. All the songs Im assured, sound like this. There are no ballads. Instead theres an assault of speed and volume and anger and intensity. This is exactly the kind of thing that made a slogan such as ‘Birth, school, metallica, death’ an apposite and appropiate summation of everything this band could muster, both in themselves and their audience.”

Got my ticket for Metallica in Dublin!

Also playing are Linkin Park (shite), and hopefully The Deftones, although this is unconfirmed.

And going on sale next week are tickets to another huge gig in Ireland - Chilli Peppers, Foo Fighters & Queens!

Over 60 Euros each, better be worth it…

I also have ordered my ticket for the Dublin show! I think this show and the one in Berlin are going to be to highlights from this first short festival tour, as they are the only two real Metallica gigs (and not festivals). Between Dublin and Leeds there is a day without a gig, so we decided also to stay for the night (=party time!!!) in Dublin. Do you know any good places we surely have to pay a visit. This probably will be the only time ever in my life I will visit this city, so I want to have experienced its nightlife!!

Re: The Levellers in Other Bands & Artists

I have seen them live several times at festivals, but last year I have seen them at the “Strandfuif” in Belgium and they totally rocked!!!!!! They convinced me that much that I decided also to go to their show at the AB in Brussels (Belgium). I will go to see ‘em live every time they come to my country. Great band!!!!
