 Like whats his face from Sublime.

” Ah - i finally kicked the drugs ”

” Wait a sec - ive still got loads left over - would be

a shame to waste them - i’ll have them all at once. ”

” Oh shit - i’ve gone and died ”

Terrible, Terrible band too.

They’re a big influence on Therapy? - particularly circa Baby Teeth and Pleasure Death, I’d say. Punishment Kiss especially. And they sang almost exclusively about murder, rape and various other pastimes.

Nevermind is massively overated, If you want a good Nirvana album, then In utero is the one.
‘Ok Computer’ is a classic, but I assume you still think Oasis are good, so it’s best not to ask your opinion!

:o As with every non-oasis fan - they continually use the fact that I like oasis to win any argument.

Squall ” :o I dont like Amnesiac ”

Non-oais fan : ” what would you know - you like oasis ”

Squall ” so what ? “

If they had sorted the shit drum sound, shortened some of the songs and let solo’s into the songs that needed them - St.Anger would have been a great album instead of a mediocre one… such a fine line.

If they had fine tuned everything and allowed solos - Imagine St Anger with the production of The Black Album.

It could have been an awesome album.

I think the new album will sound somehwere between ReLoad and St Anger.

Wow! You’re right, both punk AND hard edged punk! Ballad rock AND acoustic rock?! Thats amazing! They really AREN’T stuck in one style are they?!!

Sorry, but that is really funny! :D

 I mean that not every song sounds identical. You know what you’re gonna get when you get a green day album - but Nimrod has variations. You dont expect to buy a Green Day cd and it be avant garde - electro. Thank you radiohead.

Bring it on. Sorry but Green Day aren’t all that. Well, i don’t like the album anyway!! Its not BAD per se, its just that when you’ve got Dookie - you don’t really need another album like it thats not as good. And when you’re limited in style like they are 18 songs is stretching it a bit.

limited in style ? There are quite a few styles on that album.

Pop Punk, harder edged punk, ballady rock, acoustic rock, instrumental…

i just think its a great album. better than warning any rate, which i also like.

I just love Green Day !!

And no way are they in the same category as shower of shit bands such as Good Charlotte, Bowling For Soup, New Found Glory et al !!

Stuart ” talentless ” cable used those sticks with no tip - just a long piece of wood with a ( ahem ) a butt on either end.

:o One of them is stuart cable.

Re: Faith No More in Other Bands & Artists

You notice how nobody has anything to say when discussing guitar players or bassists, but mention the word ’ drummer ’ and the jokes come thick and fast.

 NB : NO crap jokes about drummers being thick and not fast.

I am quite content with my set up - but our guitar player has TWO 4x12 marshall cabinets and wants to get a third - and we’re only a 3 piece band !!!

WHAT DO YOU THINK ABOUT THAT ? :o

I think they are rich enough to get anyone they want in thats why they’ve gone for Rubin - he has a great track record and its something new for them. I don’t get people who just want another black album though - why?! It was good at the time but will never work if they try and recreate it a 2nd time.

Hopefully we wont get another Load, or ST. Anger though.

Another black album wouldn’t work ? What if the songs they write came out like that ? If they’re good songs, they’re good songs.

I think it will be good. Rick Rubin in the chair, Rob Trujillo on bass ! :D Proper drum sounds and guitar solos.

It’s better than saint anger already and I havent heard it yet :D

Thank god for that, I thought I was imagining things..I noticed this on the Ozzy Osbourne Budokan DVD (Yup, Bordin plays (or at least playED)as part of Ozzy’s band).

Prince had a drummer called John Blackwell who was a leftie with a right-handed kit, and it opens up all kinds of odd possibilities that right-handers just couldn’t manage.

yeah true about the Audioslave album its horribly over-produced, I don’t know why cool guys like them would go for that manufactured soulless sound. I hope Metallica don’t do that!

Every Rick Rubin album sounds different.

It wont sound like slipknot soad audioslave weezer or american heaad charge. It will sound like metallica.
