Ive asked for Octavarium for my birthday - Great album :)

I’m not into ” metal ” drummers at all. I hate that clicky triggered metronomic sound they have. I like drums to sound more like drums too - like Mike Portnoy. Joey Jordisons drums on the new slipknot sound beautiful too.

Dont jump down my throat my i find he plays the same fill over and over.

Yould think Lombardo would know how to play battery.

I wish that Joey played all the songs. Im not a big fan of lombardo.

Ive heard that gig without lars and lombardo fucked up more than lars

No doubt they are all good musicians. A rare thing these days.

It takes a while to really grow on you.

Im not saying force yourelf to like it by any means :p

But for a long time I didnt like the middle part of Lateralus where it went really quiet for 2 minutes than came back - but now i love it :)

Plus I have grown accustomed to long songs since I became a fan of Dream Theater.

The one after Aenima is Lateralus - in many peoples opinions, its not only Tool’s best album but a masterpiece in its own right.

I think its better than Aenima and 10,000 Days :)

I wanan know if HIM is a band or if its just Ville - coz ive never seen a magazine front cover with a band behind him.

I heard it had to come out this year or the record company were going to demand all their money back.

Nothing wrong with dry sound per se.

It just didnt sound very live.

I like everything about muse apart from the vocals.

Tool were amazing when I saw them at Wembley Arena. The lights and visuals were stunning. :)

I have to admit they need to grow on you.

I didnt like them for a long time.

I wonder if they will ever release a live dvd.

Rumours are flying that there will be a new album next year.

I saw HAARP on tv the other night. The sound was very dry. Almost no crowd soundor reverb at all. sounded like theyd taken the soundboard and cleaned it all up and put it back.

I like Andys growling on SP:YF. That’ll do me.

PLus i like the vocals on mastodon.
