roxy, this explains all :) i’ve been playing with die hard germans dude at the very front. It’s always nice to see a gig where the band is SO close from the audience. I even found myself occasionnaly onstage during heavy pushing. :)

Yeah, that’s something i noticed (if think i can figure out where you were standing saturday). It’s also the key for a good recording : the taping location ! I know two of your recording and i was pleased the result. I shared recently the ternat recording you made on dimeadozen. (We met at this one but i was drunk as hell and have trouble remembering what could have discussed :p)

the edirol seems to be widely used by tapers and is imo a really great stuff. Back to the time when i used to tape myself, i did it on analogic tape, it was also fancy to switch side every 30 or 45 minutes :) i had a ECM-717 but i was not really happy with this mic, capturing also a lot of the audience noise. I don’t think i’ll be back in the world of taping but if i’ll do, i would get an edirol and coresound cardioid mics.

What’s you recording material soul doubt?

yeah i know this, i used to tape shows around 10 years ago. I lend my material to seme friends and it seems that this is lost forever :s

i remember taping therapy? at the AB for the suicide pact tour (also some sophia, manic street preachers & Betty Goes Green gigs)

Does anyone taped the show? We did it but with very poor material and bass destroy everything else. I’d be glad to hear this show again.

I agree, a very good show. As it was my first show of this tour, i was a bit afraid of andy’s vocal on the new song but it was just perfect :) Amazing guitar sound is back, bass sound was insanely lovely. That’s a fact, Andy’s new look reminds me of santa claus.

Andy, can you tell us about you sudden love for Framus guitar? I really miss the almost only SG era !

Andy, why is your guitar sound becoming so thin (crap?) when playing live. I mean, when you heard the killer distortion sound you had with teethgrinder back in 94/95, now hearing the intro played with a slight overdrive really kills all my pogo’in potential !

what’s your favourite beers brand when on tour? Is there a country you wouldn’t tour because they cannot make good beers? :D
