Re: update me in General Therapy? Topics

it’s funny how elisa picked the worst songs on infernal love as the best. other than troublegum, i reccomend these songs : our love must die (not the live version), skyward (new version), close my eyes, me vs. you, a moment of clarity, bowels of love, bad mother, diane, lonely cryin only, fantasy bag, gone, innocent x (live), dancin with manson, potato junkie, prison breaker, etc … i personally like neck freak but it takes a while to get used to for some people (kind of like the caucasian psychosis = pleasure death / babyteeth albums which i like the best next to troublegum). troublegum b sides that sound like troublegum songs that you’d like are : opal mantra, evil elvis, auto surgery, totally random man, breaking the law, etc … don’t listen to the songs these people rccomend. they have horrible taste in music

best therapy albums (not including the best of cd) go like this :

-troublegum
-infernal love
-caucasian psychosis or pleasure death / babyteeth (takes a while to get used to)
-nurse (takes a while to get used to
-semi detached (takes a while to get used to. ok album but not great. listening to suicide pact you first and shameless made me go back to this album and actually like and appreciate it in comparison)
-suicide pact you first (horrible album. only ok songs are six mile water and sister)
-shameless (horrible album..not even one good song)

Re: Come on, Therapy? should just do the decent thing in General Therapy? Topics

after all, they can’t be considered a great band if they keep releasing crap. i just wanted to add that i think therapy? went downhill once fyfe left and andy got married. andy’s happy now so don’t expect therapy? to ever put out albums like they did in the past. in my opinion they should at least change their name if they want to play the kind of rock n roll music they’re playing.

Re: Come on, Therapy? should just do the decent thing in General Therapy? Topics

i of course agree with squall. shameless and spyf have no songs that really stick out or have much of a grabbing feeling to them like past albums. i agree that semi detached was an ok album but it takes a few listens to like it and you shouldn’t have to do that. i listened to shameless and spyf plenty of times i still think they’re horrible. the only 2 ok songs from shameless and spyf is six mile water and sister. i’ll give therapy? one more try of making a good album before i tune out on anything else they do. i think people like me and squall want them to quit before they ruin how great a band they were considered in the past. people like us don’t want to describe them as being a great band whose last couple of albums sucked

Re: Stop mentioning Fyfe’s name, please in General Therapy? Topics

i agree. but he shouldn’t be a member. he doesn’t fit in. he should have just participated in some songs like he did in troublegum and infernal love. i can’t picture anyone as therapy? members other than michael, andrew and fyfe. i’m sorry. everyone else just seem like they don’t fit in

Re: T?’s Cover Versions in General Therapy? Topics

basically all the covers they made are good except for the with or without you u2 cover

Re: Stop mentioning Fyfe’s name, please in General Therapy? Topics

fyfe puts graham to shame. therapy? were more successful with fyfe. screw giving graham some respect. his drumming was nothing any drummer from another band could do. with him gone, he can be easily replaced like nothing happened. when fyfe left, it was different. you can tell that there was something missing in therapy’s music when he left. when therapy? get a new drummer. there won’t be any difference because anyone can drum like graham. having graham and martin in the band changed therapy’s image in my opinion

Re: Why not a tourdrummer? in General Therapy? Topics

for once i agree. to me therapy? will always be andy mike and fyfe with of course additonal musicians whom not officially in the band.

Re: Where have you seen T? live? in General Therapy? Topics

Re: lost highway by therapy? in General Therapy? Topics

i’ll tell you people what, i’ll mail a tape with the song lost highway, and other rare songs to whoever asks me first. since you guys mail things to one another anyway, whoever gets it can make a copy of it and mail it to others who want it..the only bad thing is that i can’t put lost highway on a cd because i only have it on tape

Re: lost highway by therapy? in General Therapy? Topics

it sounds like it’s studio quality. ..right before it starts you hear like a voice from a movie that says candy cans. i’m listening to it now.it could be live but i hear no cheering and it sounds almost too perfect. it’s very catchy. may my penis fall off if this song does not exist..i know some of you might think i’m making the song up.

Re: in all seriousness in General Therapy? Topics

more than 850, 000 i mean. that’s not a bad even though they released a lot of albums. but considering how good a band therapy? is/was, you’d expect better numbers. therapy? fans have gone down album after album following infernal love (meaning people who usd to listen to therapy? stopped buying therapy? albums)

Re: in all seriousness in General Therapy? Topics

have you people noticed that the only albums that you mention that sold a lot of copies are toublegum and infernal love…that says a lot. and jointly, they haven’t sold more than a million copies. infernal sold nearly 500 000, troublegum sold 120 000, and the rest of the albums collectively sold 230 000. if i find the article i got that info from, i’ll post it here. they haven’t even sold 850 000 albums collectively.

Re: in all seriousness in General Therapy? Topics

by the way, i’m not a fan of slayer or pantera but they sold over a million albums. i would classify any band that does that as successful

Re: in all seriousness in General Therapy? Topics

‘they were succesful in europe but bands that are only famous there and not in the u.s. come and go’

do i always need to repeat things on this board?

Re: Shamefull in General Therapy? Topics

i can’t wait until ostrich hears shameless

Posted on Tue, 13 November 2001 at 16:26

Re: Shamefull in General Therapy? Topics

you’re going to be dissapointed. shameless is by far the worst album they released. don’t let the following posts by the people on this board make you think otherwise…when you get it you’ll see for yourself

Posted on Tue, 13 November 2001 at 13:26

Re: in all seriousness in General Therapy? Topics

really how does that explain the success of non mainstream bands like slayer and pantera? they didn’t make it big because of lack of promotion in the one country that could have made them real big : the united states. they were succesful in europe but bands that are only famous there and not in the u.s. come and go

1 - loose video
2 - michael mckeegan (bass player fo therapy?
3 - i saw a live theray? concert on video in 1996..and mckeegan had no shirt on…the only tattoo he had was on his arm so i would say no.
