The Hellacopters-Head Off
Just fuuuuuuckin excellent!!! Got my copy today and been listening to it for the whole day! Got the limited one with vinyl side on the other side of the cd (dunno if other bands have done this kinda thing before). Those who don´t know this band go and find something from them cause it´s a great band and it´s a pity that they´ll end their career this year.
BTW: all the songs on thisnew one are covers and the swedish rockers show their respect to these bands they are covering in hellofa excellent way

Sex Pistols in Other Bands & Artists

the new song, “Bucketheads live in Finland”: has anyone of you heard it yet, is it good?
I´m planning to go to the August gig if it happens but I did read from this morning papers that the politicans (and other bastards) are trying hard to ban the gig in Hellsinki on the 23rd of Aug…

Terveet Kädet-Ääretön propaganda: hell yeah this hits always hard, classic finnish hardcore from the eighties. Got the vinyl with bonus live 7”, recorded at I-Klubi here in Tampere on the 21st of July 1995. It was a shortsharpshock gig as I remember:)

The Godfathers in Other Bands & Artists

Anyone of you know this excellent band from UK? Used to listen to their stuff back in the eighties a lot, had forgotten the whole band, dunno why cause it´s so good. Now it popped up for me in myspace again. I have tried to find a link to order the re-issue of their debut “Hit by hit” on cd as it´s going to be re-released this month (or in Feb), Dunno if it is a worldwide release or just a UK one, but I have to get that one cause I have got the LP only and the cd is packed with bonus stuff.
And they´re going to play some gigs in Spain, Greece and UK. Hope they´ll make it to Finland also!

Re: Potato Junkies plays Therapy? PT 2 in Other Bands & Artists

Yep, we were there too. I shot my buddies band Sister Shotgun´s gig on video. I was comin to talk with you as I saw you there in the back during Sisters set, went to toilet, and you were not after that there in the back anymore. Kati said that you went to the front and the place was so packed so we stayed at the back and went home just before Paul finished his set. You see, Vasta Virta is such a bid place so you can get lost in there:)
Heh, the mystery is there in the potatos. I try to eat em every day so I´m kindofa junkie too…

How much did you pay for the Jap version ? Anywhere cheap on the net ?

Check out this site:
http://www.cdjapan.co.jp/
It costed 2400 yen and I ordered the latest Motörhead live 2cd at the same time. They costed together about 38€ to Finland with p&p.
I´ve seen it on eBay too but it costed more from there using “buy it now”.

Hanoi Rocks-Street poetry
grabbed the Jap version of this with two bonus tracks: Hanoi version of the Problems classic “Ei tää lama päähän käy”, now in english, “Worldshaker”, is topclass.
Best Hanoi album since “Two steps from the move”!
It was nice to hear that they support MH here in Finland on all the three shows in December.

Helloh Marko! Cannot be there (not on the stage either, thank god:)) as we´re the same day in Hellsinki…but a friend of ours is going to capture the evening on video. Dunno who is playing the bass, what I´ve heard, Matti is not going to be there on stage with the lads.
